Never been a fan of all night. The isolated vocals at the end remind me of the same effect in Aerosmith's Love in an Elevator (cringes). That's just me though.

It's a quintessential "deep cut" rocker.

All Night would be a killer opener.
    Just balls to the walls.

I am partial to the slow grind opening number...Release, Long Road, Hard to Imagine...

I keep shouting for Severed Hand as the opener. I think that would be sweet

I've seen severed hand as an opener and it didn't blow me away.

While I think these are two completely different songs with separate vibes, there is some validity to this comment. I remember hearing 'Severed Hand' for the first time on SNL I believe, and there was talk at the time of the same chords/similar chord progression to Porch. I had completely forgotten about that!

It is tough to write original riffs, so I give the guys a pass on severed hand and porch. Hence the :-P emoticon.

I always think Stone has billions of new riffs and chord progressions waiting to bubble to the surface. Please play Minnesota this Fall!!!

Does it? To me, saying it sounds just like "Porch" is an unfinished thought. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

While I don't think 'Severed Hand' sounds just like 'Porch', it does have the same 'A-C-G' chord pattern, though played slightly differently, during the verses. That's all.

In my opinion, both totally kick ass songs:

SEVERED HAND: Ultimate live song. I swear Eddie wrote those lines with visions of thousands shouting "I said YEEEEAAAHHH!!" back at him. Cryptic lyrics, awesome chorus, great energy.

PORCH: When I think of Porch, I think of watching 'MTV Unplugged' as a kid, and Eddie just going off, writing on his arm with magic marker, singing that last chorus with more passion than I'd ever seen in any performer. I remember thinking, "What IS this?!"

EDIT: Had to re-watch Porch Unplugged on youtube just now... still gives me goosebumps. Undeniable passion poured into that performance, how could you not become a fan after watching that?

    Please come back to MN.

I'm dying to see what the tour itinerary is. I honestly thought 2013 was our year, then, just before it, I have a friend who "knows people" and he said he hadn't heard anything about a MN date in 2013, so I actually wasn't surprised that we didn't get a date then. Disappointed? Yes, Surprised or expecting it? No. That was why we made arrangements right away for an out of town show last fall.

But now...I really am excited. I haven't asked my buddy if he heard anything, but I've got a good feeling...
