    I'm finding myself oddly disappointed that my softball opener wasn't cancelled tonight. A doubleheader starting at 815pm, with game time temps of 38F and 15MPH winds does not sound fun...

    it's not! a couple years ago we opened in the 9pm game in heavy sleet along with high enough winds to be constantly be pelted. standing in the outfield i kept getting whipped in the face by ice and could barely see the ump. earlier games were fine (but cold obviously), so i imagine the officials just wanted to power through regardless. it was ridiculous to say the least.

    play minnesota, pearl jam. it might snow.

    I'll second that! I was at the Target.corp show. It was technically my first live PJ experience. As mini as it was, it was still epic!
