And he's not like Ian Astbury and Shannon Hoon - who both urinated on their audience when they played Vancouver...no front row for me in Vancouver - EVER!

I was at the Cult show, but left before the Pee Riot. Damn.

See, a little bit of saliva is NOT a big deal...

  • Here's spit in your eye!

What about hockey players and other sports guys? They spit...you gotta do something with all that saliva...it's not like he's hoarking up oysters and leaving them on the sidewalk...all green and yellowish...

speaking of which, have you ever been on a public sidewalk? People spit all the time (and yes, it's gross), but in the context of a concert or a sporting event...SPIT HAPPENS!!
its ALL fucking gross!!! rock and roll or not, its all disgusting. i remember one time at a bus stop (but then again, it's a bus stop) and there was a fucking PUDDLE of that shit! i mean, i get it, sometimes theres spit in my mouth when i sing and its too much effort to swallow it or something (haha save the bj jokes), but my god it's just gross! but im weird, i also think full glasses in the sink are gross :p god, just wait till i have kids.. anything that leaks out of a person besides blood grosses me out. i can see a body with its guts cut out but i cant see a runny nose. go figure :D

My gawd I am so sick and tired of seeing "Eddie/smoking" threads. Get a life people. Stop dissecting this shit. We are really not in a good place as a fan base if we keep creating and discussing this invasive shit. That fact that someone took the time and thought to come up with a cockemamy idea that Ed somehow puts conscious effort into where or not to smoke on stage is ridiculous. If that is all you have to pay attention to while at a PJ concert, you've got issues!!

    Who gives a shit???

And anyone who says "I thought he quit smoking," besides the invasive speculation on this board, where do you get your information?

I'm sorry animal, let's talk about something important like winter beer or spiders! I asked an honest question about something a guy clearly chose not to do on stage for 12 years and then recently started to. Opposing viewpoints are fine but you need to stick to decaf if you get that worked up over an simple question.
