    Since the SECC show I've had to travel Manchester, London O2 and Hyde Park to get my fix. Was lucky enough to make it to Alpine for the big one but would be nice to think maybe the next time would be on home ground.

    id love pearl jam to play slane castle in ireland wherever it is, is that in dublin? rhcp play there and some other bands, i dont know that area well but heard slane castle is a sick venue, they would get 100k there if they want :D

    went to REM there a few years ago and it would be a great PJ venue but I think we will need to wait until the new arena opens at the SECC in a couple of years
    I was at that REM show in 2005 and I can honestly say it is the most beautiful setting I have seen any show at. I think there were around 65000 there and it was such an amazing place to see the sun set. Eddie would love it! Perhaps he can ask his REM friends how good it was!! :D

    couldn't find any decent images for the park, so i went with wiki. and at least it shows that you could get at least 40,000 crowd there, which is more than enough for a gig in scotland. and i'm certain fans travelling from far and wid would appreciate the setting as apposed to some crappy indoor arena.

    Yep being an ass ... :roll: ... I meant the Cathouse when it was at the Broomielaw ... King Tut's was a typo on my part :oops: but thanks for drawing my attention :roll:

    At the SECC he told the story of the only other time they played Scotland,The Cathouse,but Eddie couldn't remember the name of the venue,crowd that remember that gig call out The Cathouse,I am one of them,he gets a hard time for only having played Scotland once before,his excuse ... he had laundry to do ... he then tells the story of arriving at The Cathouse and Mrs Mop is there mopping the floor ... the whole thing is recorded for the SECC bootleg C.D

    Does anyone who attended that Cathouse gig happen to know the setlist that night? Isn't on the official site.
    Oh and I think the main reason they haven't come back since 2000 is because of the crap sound in the tin hut that is the SECC.

    I was at the cathouse gig, and I to would love to know the setlist... the annoying thing is, being right at the barrier for that gig, i swear i got the set list after the show, but must've lost it in time :oops:

    Loch Lomond would be a great setting, but Barrowlands would be jumping.

    I'd be up for Scotland, just over the border so just as easy to get there as Manchester. In fact a night in Glasgow followed by a night in Manchester would be perfect.
