First concert - Bob Dylan
I've also seen, BB King, AC/DC, Motorhead, David Allan Coe (he stopped and said something after I yelled Free Bird), and Pearl Jam.
I've seen a lot more shows, but those are the only acts I'd classify as "legendary."
My first concert was Aerosmith (Pump tour) and I guess I could put down Van Halen if they are considered legendary

The Cure (without a doubt, one of the best live bands!)
)
i want so bad to see them..
"...Dimitri...He talks to me...'.."The Ghost of Greece..".
"..That's One Happy Fuckin Ghost.."
“..That came up on the Pillow Case...This is for the Greek, With Our Apologies.....”
*David Gilmour and Richard Wright - WHen they performed Shine on You Crazy Diamond and Echoes I was thinking Roger who? When Dave sang Wish You Were Here it is almost identical in crowd participation to PJ's Betterman, if not moreso.
*Ozzy - Bark at the Moon... Jake E Lee was on fire at this show!
*Metallica - with Cliff opening of Ozzy's Ultimate Sin tour, Ozzy was very bloated at this time and I don't think he spoke to Jake at all... Wish MEtallica would have played the main set. The Master set was brutal!
*Iron Maiden - Powerslave tour - "Scream for me Long Beach... err Phoenix"
*Anthrax - Among the Living tour
*Rush - Moving Pictures tour
-CSNminusY- terrible, I guess I saw them when they were too old, they were using pitch correction on their vocals and you could hear the extra noise (60hz) through the PA.
*Pearl Jam - PJ20
*DRI
*Flotsam and Jetsam (was lengendary for me) - Doomsday for the Deceiver tour
*Scorpions- I did not hide under their limo like Mike MCCready did
*Eric Clapton (with Derek Trucks and Doyle Bramhall ll) playing Derek & the Dominoes material. This show was fantastic.
*Eric Clapton & Steve Winwood (Playing Blind Faith Songs) This show was pretty boring until Clapton finally let go during Voodoo Chile and Dear Mr Fantasy was pretty good.
... i woulda been 6 but thats old enough yeah? how old were you?

I was in the 10th grade... 15. I wasn't able to go see bands like the Doors (I really wanted to see the Stones in 1970, but there was no way my parents would let me go to a Stones' gig at age 14... especially after Altamont). There was too much of a drug thing around most bands. My mom liked the Kinks, so it was okay to go to that. Bought the ticket with the money from my paper route... it was $5.50 at the local Sears Store.
Allen Fieldhouse, home of the 2008 NCAA men's Basketball Champions! Go Jayhawks!
Hail, Hail!!!
The Kinks in 1971... my first concert.
Sly And The Family Stone in 1971.
Led Zeppelin in 1972 for 'Led Zeppelin IV' ('Houses Of The Holy' and 'Physical Graffitti' tours).
Neil Young in 1972 for 'Harvest'.
The Who in 1973 in support of 'Quadrophenia' (1976 at Anaheim Staduim and 1980).
Pink Floyd for 'Wish You Were Here' (and 'Animals' then the 1980 'The Wall' Tour).
David Bowie and the Spiders From Mars in 1972 ('Diamond Dogs' in 1974 and subsequent tours).
Queen opening for Mott The Hoople.
Queen in support of 'A Night At The Opera'.
Steely Dan (opened for Bread).
Elton John at the Troubadour (prior to 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road').
Alice Cooper's 'School's Out' and 'Billion Dollar Babies'.
The Ramones with Blondie (first L.A. show) and local band Van Halen at the Whiskey-A-Go-Go.
Elvis Costello and the Attractions at Milliken High School in Long Beach.
Van Halen (when they were a cover band) every weekend in Pasadena and at a house party in La Canada.
DEVO in 1977.
The Clash (with an unheard band called 'The Police')
PIL at the Olympic Auditorium.
Talking Heads with The B52s.
The GoGos at The Masque.
The Pretenders first L.A. show.
X, Dead Kennedys, Black Flag, Social Distortion when the L.A. punk scene was going on.
Pearl Jam at Indio (Santa Barbara 2003 Benefit).
Queens Of The Stone Age when Lanegan was with them (a couple of times).
Foo Fighters
Radiohead
All "legendary" because they affected my life somehow.
Pearl Jam (no-brainer)
