I'll let you define legendary, but here are mine, in no particular order.
1. Michael Jackson for the Thriller tour. It was actually the second show of the tour and I was 10. And it was my first concert.
2. KISS - I saw them with Lita Ford in the late 80's. No makeup or pyro but still a lot of fun.
3. Neil Young and Crazy Horse - Saw him on the Greendale tour. First half was so so since it was all Greendale but then he kicked into his older catalog.
4. John Fogerty and John Mellencamp. Saw them a few years back. They both played most of their hits.
5. U2 . Missed them on their Zoo TV tour though. One of my great disappointments in life.
6. Metallica - Early 90's for their black album twice.
7. Van Halen - Early 90's for their For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge tour.
8. Pearl Jam
9. Radiohead
That's all I can think of for now.
EDIT: I forgot to add G n' R (2x) for the Use Your Illusion tour and while not legends here, in Ireland The Pogues and The Chieftains would be considered royalty.

Pearl Jam (obviously!)
Rage Against the Machine - I've NEVER seen a crowd get so crazy as they do at RATM shows. Such passion.
Roger Waters The Wall tour - Seeing this production is something I never thought I would get to see live, and the mere thought of it sends chills down my spine.
The Who - They played Love Reign O'er Me twice because Pete wasn't happy with the first time they played it!
David Gilmour - he did Echoes in its entirety. Incredible.
Anthrax w/ Joey Belladonna. Legends. Keanu Reeves was moshing!
Pearl jam (2000 was my first time, glad they still decided to do the U.S. tour cause it was such a heartbreaking and dark time period), PJ at ACL festival, it finally happened!
Roger Waters (both DSOTM and the Wall tours)
The Beach Boys (My first concert- 1989 at Astroworld. I was in Kindergarten, can't remember if John Stamos was playing with them. I know he does from time to time, or if Brian wilson was with them. Like I said. I was young, but awesome to see these guys.
Bob Dylan
The Rightious Brothers
Eric Clapton with (Doyle Bramhall II and Derek Trucks as part of his backing band).
Neil Young's Almost acoustic tour last year (Got to shake his hand, and thank him for his music).
Bruce Springsteen and the E street band
The who with the Pretenders
KISS at the Houston Live stock show and rodeo! Never in a million years, did I ever think that would happen! The rodeo shirt with a bull with a paul stanley Star over the eye of the bull was hilarious.
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, they brought Stevie Nicks out and played "stop dragging my heart around", and insider" the crowd was fun, fun, fun. When the played "Handle with Care" by the Wilburys- oh the party started.
EV Solo: 7/11/11 11/12/12 11/13/12
Pearl Jam (a no-brainer)
The Cure (without a doubt, one of the best live bands!)
Nine Inch Nails (Trent and Charlie are incredible to make songs that can make you cry then make you want to go on a rampage.)
Chris Cornell (thanks to PJ20, that man has some serious pipes on him!)
Primus (Les is incredible, I know they are not for everyone but you can't deny the man can play a bass)
Alice in Chains (new line-up but still were great)
Smashing Pumpkins (Billy, although a little egotistical, can't deny is VERY talented)

Pearl Jam
Primus (if you have been there, you know!)
Mike Watt
Mojo Nixon (Legendary in my book!)

So far I have seen
Pearl jam
Grateful dead
Santana
Bod Dylan
Metallica...legendary metal band I guess
Neil Young
Willie Nelson
Paul Simon
Legendary only includes few out of many so I think tht might be all that counts
Never saw Mojo solo, but saw him with the late, great Beat Farmers. I'd definitely add them to my list of legendary acts.

The Who
Plant / Page
Robert Plant
Rolling Stones
The Ramones
U2

Garth Brooks - I guess he has to be considered legendary.
DEGENERATE FUK
This place is dead
"THERE ARE NO CLIQUES, ONLY THOSE WHO DON'T JOIN THE FUN" - Empty circa 2015

That "No Talent Ass Clown" Michael Bolton. Fantastic!
Buffalo Springfield ( original- 1st concert! also reunion at the Bridge last year)

Van Halen
Metallica
Bruce Springsteen
Neil Diamond Hot August Night concert ( he was actually pretty good back then - at least to a 13 year old )
Michael Jackson (kids wanted to see him)
and of course PJ. Realized sunday's PJ20 show was my 20th if you let me count Bridge and Ed solo shows
In the almost legendary category I'd add several Green Day shows, Them Crooked Vultures and looking forward to Foo Fighters next month. Elton John and U2 not shabby either ( Achtung Baby era ). And soon to be legendary: Glen Hansard.
And for kicks: one of the most fun shows I've ever seen was ( hard to believe I'm admitting it ): Weird Al! (happens when you have preteen boys)
Pearl Jam
Robert Plant
Roger Daltrey

Tragically Hip '00 and '08
Link Wray '05
Alice In Chains '08 (with Velvet Revolver)
The Rolling Stones - Bridges To Babylon Tour (DMB, Smashing Pumpkins and Matchbox 20 opened)
Steve Miller Band - sometime in the late 90's, not very good
U2 - PopMart Tour
Stone Temple Pilots - on their ill-fated Tiny Music Tour
David Bowie/Nine Inch Nails - Outside Tour '95 (co-headliners)
Rockfest: It was a festival that had a lot of 90's alternative bands: Bush, No Doubt, Counting Crows, Collective Soul, Wallflowers, etc. Though I don't know if you would call any of these bands "legendary".
And more, those are the ones that pop into my head at the moment.
Eric Clapton (once with Derek Trucks and once with Steve Winwood)
Alice In Chains (x2)
Rush (x3)
Fleetwood Mac
Ozzy Osbourne
Stone Temple Pilots
Eddie Vedder (with John Densmore for a couple of songs)
Soundgarden
Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band
Pearl Jam
Soundgarden
Smashing Pumpkins (original line up)
Neil Young
U2
NIN
Alice In Chains
STP
AC/DC
REM
Metallica
Radiohead
RATM
Beastie Boys
Bob Dylan
DMB
Sonic Youth
Afghan Whigs
RHCP
Foo Fighters
Green Day
Probably lots more I'm forgetting. I'm not sure everybody would consider my list of bands to be legends, but I think any band that's been around 15 years + must be doing something right.
Pearl Jam 11x
ACDC
Black Crowes 5x
Tom Petty 3x
Bob Dylan-awful!!
Tool 4x
Neil Young and Crazy Horse
Doobie Bros.
Mellencamp-these last 3 at FarmAid right after 9/11...Pink Houses was amazing
Rush
VR-don't consider the band legendary, but Slash, Duff and Weiland, no doubt
Les Claypool-unfortunately during his Gabby Lala phase>worst show I've seen
David Gilmour
RHCP
Flaming Lips
Radiohead
STP
Them Crooked Vultures ie John Paul Jones
Yep, you're right, I stand corrected! I just remember being so excited to see my favorite song twice in a row, it was just too much to handle
I forgot to mention that Robert Plant opened that show...I would definitely consider that legendary as well!
