How to cope with fear of flying

Subject pretty much sums it all up. I've flown a couple times and it's not bad but I dread it. I think my problem is that since I'm not in control of the plane, I freak out that something is going to go wrong and I'll be screwed. I know it's the safest method of transportation but that doesn't help. I'm trying to mentally…
