RKCNDY reporting late breaking news...unlost's presentation has been postponed, reports are that there were many eye patches worn that day. No word on if unlost wore one on each eye I'd not...update at 11.

having an "unlost moment" has NEVER stopped her from posting before.
but i was thinking more along the lines that her "innocence" related to pop culture terminology may have caused her to get in trouble with the mods. my meager imagination can hardly muster what sort of slang could have however caused this confusion, but it shouldn't be ruled out as a possibility...yet

Hello all! No, I was not banned and have never been banned. Well, not yet.
Sad reason for the absence last week into this... a friend was killed in a boating accident that's kind of rattled our marina. Very sad story, bunch of people decided a late night ride would be fun, there had been drinking, etc. Boat operator charged with negligent homicide and operating under the influence. Just a bad scene all the way around. We know everyone that was on the boat, and the woman who was killed was someone Mr. Unlost and I really thought a lot of. We were stunned when we heard about it. She was good, good people.
So, it's time to move forward and here I am.
And yes, there were many eye patches here on Talk Like A Pirate Day, but alas I was distracated by recent events and forgot all about it.
Halloween, however, will be a whole different story. Guess who they asked to coordinate the Halloween festivities and costume concept for our team?

She has to costume 19 folks, so they'd have to have 9 of them be the Marlins players on the field, 4 of them be umpires and then it could be accurate as the other 6 could be fans (Assuming it was a special give-away day at the park and they drew their largest crowd of the season.)
