. your friend was so funny when i told her they played state of love and trust early in the set.
And he still gives his love, he just gives it away, The love he receives is the love that is saved, And sometimes is seen a strange spot in the sky, A human being that was given to fly
oh it was awesome to see sam on stage [...] he looked hot up there, haha just kidding
I was digging everything you said up until that part. If Sam is a threat to my own, ahem, "hotness," then I'll have to think twice before inviting the boy on stage again. Though you noticed that I drink lots of tea to preserve my fragile vocal cords, you probably weren't aware that I employ childish tactics to preserve my equally fragile status as a sex sym— . . . (I'm sorry, but my keyboard just locked down from a laughing fit.)

that's funny, for some reason I thought it was coffee you have up there on the stage in that thermostat thingy.

Good Show guys. The sound was kinda bad at the back, some mixing problems i guess. Couldn't hear the drums very much and the guitars were not coming through very clear. but once i moved up front it was all good. Nice Tee, Tony. sorry couldn't catch up with you, was meaning to but too many things were happening. next time definitely.
You have our gratitude, PJ_Panic, as does everyone else who packed the room on Friday night. It's a shame that Lion's Den apparently didn't upgrade the house PA system when it reinvented itself as the sleeker Sullivan Hall. The on-stage mix was so uneven that we figured the sound emanating from the main speakers had to be a comparative improvement, but apparently the problems did affect pockets of the room.
However, as much as we experienced audio issues throughout the entire set, we think we could have done a better job of overcoming them on the fly. Fortunately, we'll be rocking through the Bose L1 Model II system (corporate shilling, anyone?) at The Cutting Room, site of the Wishlist Foundation Pre-Party on June 24. We've twice played that space using the same Bose units and have found the clarity to be astounding.
On second thought, I suppose the practice is okay as long as "Mr. Hottie" isn't escorted onto the stage by his lady. Under that scenario we'd surely lose the attention of all the crowd's straight males for the remainder of the evening.

Great setlist, I wanted Do The Evolution, but Given to Fly was great!
I can't wait until the pre-party to see you guys again.
We must have been at the ATM when they played it!
