I had a chicken cutlet sandwich with melted mozz, taylor ham, and Srirachra hot sauce the other day. It was bangin. I guess you could say taylor ham and chicken on one sandwich is weird.

Oh and I made a hot dog sandwich with cheese and raspberry jam once. I saw it on Man V Food though.

are we talking about just drinking milk while eating popcorn?

Milk is ALL we drank growing up (besides water and the occassional koolaid), so milk with anything is good to me...

Has anyone said Mayo and PB? There was a place in Providence you could get a burger with Mayo and PB on it... it closed. My personal favorite is graham crackers with orange juice.

    Canned pears and Triscuits.

If you like the salty/sweet combination, this pairing is fantastic!

I take a quartered pear, cut it in half with a fork while it is still in the can, then put that on a single Triscuit. Yum!!

And, after all the pears are gone, I'll dip/soak Triscuits in the remaining juice in the can.

    Honorable mention: Oreos and popcorn.

My very favorite meal is peanut butter sandwiches dunked into tomato soup. My grandma made it for me when I was a kid and I still eat it about once a week. My wife says it's the grossest thing she's ever seen. It just seems normal to me.

I also like to make a can of spaghetti and then put some on some bread, it's a sketti sammich. And then I save all the meat balls for the end and make a meatball sandwich.

And this doesn't really count as a strange combo, but it's along the lines of throwing the croutons in the salsa. Whenever I get to the bottom of a bag of tortilla chips and all that's left are the crumbs, I just throw them in a bowl of salsa and eat them cereal-style.

To my b/f anything that involves crackers/bread with any condiment mayo/hot sauce/ketchup is a slurry.

I do the pb sandwich with my chili. Usually add white corn syrup to the pb.

Sketti sammiches are great. I always do that with buttered bread. Had a Hungarian variation of this last night with stroganoff.

i always make sandwiches with pasta :) I dont do the canned spaghetti thing, but when I make pasta for dinner, I always put some on garlic bread and fold it up like a sandwich and eat it like that.
Whenever I went to olive garden, I used to bite the end off the breadstick, stick my finger in it to make a hole, and stuff salad down into it. ha! My mother would be SO embarrassed to be with me!

Brussels sprouts(fresh and quartered) and radishes(sliced) cooked in a skillet with olive oil, salt and pepper.. of course you could substitute the olive oil with grease from the bacon that you add, it you choose to do such a thing... Delicious either way.
    I ain't got no fly'n shoes..

I was going to put this one! Sifting through the thread to see if anyone mentioned it because I had never heard of it before I started dating my boyfriend 2 years ago---he LOVES PB and mayo sandwiches! I tried a bite once because he eats them almost every day---frankly it was kinda gross.

  • As a kid I would eat mayonaisse and garlic salt sandwiches.

The picture becomes more clear every day as to why I didn't have many friends.

Yeah, and I like it chewy and clumpy! But, everyone I've ever eaten it with puts butter and sugar in it and looks at me funny when I put salt on it. I think butter and sugar on it sound DISGUSTING.
