hopefully soon. we caught them on their In Rainbows tour & they were awesome. so glad that i finally saw them live. my best guess would be in the Spring. i know they love playing live...from what i understand, they'll be releasing another album in the next 6-9 months & will probably tour for it.

I was going to say... PJ may hate the south, but Radiohead hates the North. Two ridiculous date in NY in venues that held 200 people. Ugh.
... and the will to show I will always be better than before.
  • i noticed that the exact presale times for wednesday are blank...

is this typical w.a.s.t.e. style or have they just not gotten around to posting the exact presale times?

To be fair, Roseland holds 3,000 people. But yea, weird tour schedule.

    they don't announce the times.

in 06, it was like 4 in the morning, in 09 it was like 9 in the morning, and for the roseland shows it was 10 am or so.

i got to one of the nyc shows, and can't wait for the swing back east!

i only went to the san diego shows, i live in oregon, in 06, because it went on sale at 4am. i fell asleep. woke up at 5am for some reason, went online and waste had already begun the presale and everything except san diego was sold out.

does radio head get the "best seats in the house" like PJ, or are they random thruout the areana?

  • im not completely sure. waste, the radiohead fan club thing, isnt a fan club in the real sense. No dues. No newsletter. Not even a real message board in the traditional sense. i think they sent out e-mails in 2006 when tickets went on sale as was said at 5am. but since then, that hasnt gone on. And it seems from experience radiohead plays more GA shows than PJ does. Their ticket thing really isnt similar to Ten Clubs at all.

I thought i read that radiohead required that people actually go and physically stand in line to get the roseland tickets at first but then opened them up to ticketmaster, which is the most ive ever seen a modern band, at least in the last 10 years stand up to scalpers.
  • im hoping radiohead play the northwest proper. when was the last time they played portland, or anywhere in oregon? i obviously know there will be west coast dates announced in the future, but someone said they ignore the north. i'd be more specific, they ignore the northwest

They really make you work for the presale tickets. On several occassions, I have stayed up until 4am to get tickets (by choice, obviously!). If you think a 10C sale can be daunting, try a WASTE sale!
  • choopchoop Posts: 1,060
waste gets great seats, i've usually gotten pit tickets on a few different tours.

its not as bad as pearl jam sales because the site doesn't crash. get a friend or two and work the waste site in shifts.

So, the presale happens on the waste site?

    Is there a password?

...I signed up years ago on waste so I wouldn't miss the last tour, but no email was sent when that tour went on sale either.
