Nice. I guess that's at least one thing the cards have going for them
It feels really awesome for them to get a win despite Rodgers horridly throwing for under 50%. Guess we have the AWESOME run game that they had and the good enough banged up D.
Rodgers stats were very strange, 4 TDs which is really good but under 50% completion which is really bad, I'm sure that doesn't happen often. It also means that over a quarter of the time that a Packer caught a football, it went for a TD, crazy.
And at this point I sound like a broken record, about sounding like a broken record about Jones and Cobb but I must again mention that they are awesome because it is EVERY SINGLE WEEK that they put up numbers, no matter what the game around them is like.
Now we're knocking on the first place door!! I do hope that Cutler is alright though, that was a nasty hit.
Yes indeed. And to clarify (I know you're not saying that) I meant in the standings, and not the hit on Cutler.
Oh of course!! I think we all have a lot of fun here with rivalries and all that, but I don't think anyone here would rejoice in seeing anyone get hurt.

Wow, bears giants falcons and niners (kinda) all lost. I don't wanna look to far ahead or get to excited but at this point a bye defiantly isn't out of the question if they continue to play at the level they have been and some of those teams lose a few more.
don't know if this was posted somewhere else but gotta love it
haha that's great! Someone NEEDS to post that in the bears thread.
But anyway Nelson, Shields and Worthy are all back at practice which is great. Woodson, Bulaga and Matthews were all still inactive. Plus they signed linebacker Vic So'oto which can only mean that Matthews will be missing some significant time.
Even with the injuries I am 100% optimistic, if there's one thing this team has proven through the past few years it's that they can play well with the absence of key players, actually they play a little better sometimes if that makes sense. I think they are more than capable of winning all of their remaining games.

Twist my arm
I hear that Bulaga's definitely out for the year :( Didn't hear about So'oto yet...that's definitely a bad sign. But you're right - the thing about the Packers is that there is so much depth these injuries really shouldn't affect too much. If Rodgers goes down then we're in a world of trouble, but I think the rest, while not ideal, aren't going to be too detrimental to the team. We'll see I guess.

Haha something tells me Rodgers has played quite a few practical jokes on people in his time!
Happy Halloween!

But hopefully this week will get all our guys back healthy and ready for the Lions!
Oh that's it. Aren't the Bills playing the Pats again this weekend? Remember when I bet on their last matchup?
Looks like I have a bet to make
No reason to be mean jinx.
You started it halfpint! Posting pictures of that traitor in this thread is a punishable offense!
