It doesn't snow here but there is snow on the mountain range that I can see from my office window, we are lucky to get a high of 14. Most days the high is around 10 -12 degrees but it doesn't reach that until mid afternoon. Today is the first day of sun in over two weeks and it is bitterly cold, my guess around 6 degrees. In the summer we range between 25 - 32 degrees. I like the winter, wrap up in a warm coat, electric blankets and hot water bottles.

"Frost could bring further challenges"
You call them pussies, then follow up with 'it doesn't snow here', and 'wrap up in a warm coat, electric blankets and hot water bottles'...when it's a 'bitterly cold' -6?? Too funny. It was -8 in Melbourne, dontcha know?! Gotta be tough to survive those temps, fer sure :P
A sunny -6 is a beautiful day for three months of the year up here. I could do without the -40 days, but I've never thought -6 was bad at all :? You don't even need gloves or hats (toques ) at -6.
