Hey, I have a doubt: I saw that we're going to have a presale, nevertheless, in 2005, the TenClub members could got in the stadium before the gates opened. Is the same thing going to happen this time? And if it is, how can they tell who's from the TC and who's not? For the ticket, or they get a list or something?0

I´m very disappointed with this ticket system and with the fact there won´t be any wristbands...
I´m even thinking of not renewing my membership next year...
In 2005 everything was perfect... we bought the tickets and we arrived earlier in the venues to collect our wristbands...
Can anyone explain (and duly justify) why this time will be different?
Honestly, I was thinking of going to 6 shows (all in Brazil and 1 in Argetina)... now I just don´t know...
I just don´t think it´s fair with all 10C members from South America... You guys have no idea how people act before entering the venues here... Unfortunately there are a lot of people who doesn´t respect the lines, sometimes even the police can´t make them respect the lines...
I know I´m just one... and I know probably you won´t do anything about it... (who cares anyway? it´s all about money, huh?)
Pre-sale and no wristband? That´s not a big deal for us brazilian members...
Very sad... very sad...0 -
Everyone needs to send an email to the ten club experssing how they feel about this...Maybe the 10c will try to work something out with the ticket company/venue..
I am sure this will be brought up during the aet tomorrow..

I agree.
It doesn't seem fair for those who pay every year international membership. We don't have the same chances that americans and europeans to see the band. But I can say that it's sad to read from other guy here that we can not complain because the band don't have obligation to came here. For most of people this will be the only chance to see the band.

New on the board here but what is the deal in South America with the wrist bands? Are you suggesting that if you purchase a ticket for what should be a good section in advance through TenClub, that you are unlikely to be able to actually get to that seat or section? If that is the case I will buy the cheapest ticket for sale at the BA show.
I am uneasy buying a ticket for "will call" down there and would pay $25 for international shipping rather than risk not getting my tickets. It looks like since these are sold by the vendor directly that the policy on international shipping would depend for each venue. Anyone have any experience or advice that would apply this tour?0 -
just watched the video linked in the previous posts. All I can say is no thanks.0

In Latin America there are no marked seats, it's all GA. Even the sections with chairs are not marked, the earlier you get, the best is you seat or position at the GA.
We had this wristband sistem for 10C members back in 2005 to give us early entrance to the venue, and as far as I know, this advantage is given to all GA concerts in Europe and the US. That's what we are asking for.
And another thing: I'm from Brazil and went to a concert in Buenos Aires last year with marked seats on the floor section, but by the 3rd song people from the back invaded the floor and many people got hurt. Audiences in Brazil aren't easy either, so get ready for some crazy fans!0 -
Cool thanks. We may be there but sitting way the heck in the back for the BA show.0

10 club,
Please review the antecipated entry for fan club members at the shows. For many years the band does it for us. The reason of why we become a member of the fan club is because the band is very important in our lives. I think we deserved a special treatment, for the simple fact that you are special for us...
Please think about it.

Sure, the big problem will be T4F...A BIG problem...When I purchased my U2 tickets, I got really lucky...have loged in T4F page 10 mins before the pre-sale time...After pressing F5 for several times, nothing...had to log off and log in again, and after 15 mins I got it...It was pure luck, because a lot of people did the same with no success...
I just don´t get it why 10c gave the same password for all cities...it it leaks, it will be easy for scalpers to buy at pre-sale...even with no 10c number..Why we can´t put our 10c number? So it will be more difficult for scalpers to buy this way don´t you agree? If they put the same passworld for all 10c members, how do they know if a fan or a scalper is 10c member or not? They will ask us about our 10c number also right?0 -
Danced around my room when I got the email on the South-America tour. Happy for the South-Americans and happy for me :-) I'll be doing my own little South America-tour, just a bit slower than Pearl Jam. The Peru-concerts fits perfectly in my non-existant plan (travelling Brazil-Argentina-Bolivia-Peru-Chile-Argentina!). But: I have so many questions.
Anybody can help me on understanding the website of http://www.tuentrada.com.pe? My three months Spanish course just doesn't help.
1) Is there an option where I can pick up the tickets in Lima? I'm leaving Holland this september and don't really want to take the risk in letting the tickets send from Peru to my home...
2) Can I only pay with a Visa card?
3) What section is the best in the stadium?
4) I am travelling alone, somebody wants to meet up? A bit anxious of South American crowds :-)Pinkpop 92 - Amsterdam 96 - Arnhem 2006 - Nijmegen 2007 - Rotterdam 2009- Nijmegen 2010 - Lima 2011 - Amsterdam I 2012 - Amsterdam II 20120
