ok what confused me was the mention of a superintendant. I thought that is like a landlord of rental property (or is it cleaning staff?)
am i the only one who noticed her movie star name, natalie wood? robert wagner's wife who drowned.

i thought the decomposed body explodes :(

    lol no way

well.. not so much as explodes, as releases the gasses built up during the decomposition process. its quite the fascinating process... ive seen it in time lapse from the body farm, TN.
I did a 3 month internship at the body farm in TN in '99. :) It was awesome! (if you like that kind of thing).

if ya ever stumble across a dead cow out in the woods
and you see it moving a bit
    kick it

opposums eat their way inside the decomposing beast by way of the anus where they dine and invite all their friend and family to help grub on the poor dead cow

they will retreat when humans approach and stuff
it is wild watching 9 opposums flee said rotten cows gut and throat

    it's the iowa countryside... :|

what about the dead body odor? a woman died in a local apartment building here and was found after 3 days.
it took a year to get the odor out of the hallway on the floor where she lived. her apt was cleaned as soon as they found her but for some reason, it stayed in the hall, even after the carpet was steam cleaned.

that is sad, but it sounds fishy.

  • to die alone and not even be noticed by your family, by the government, by any friends?
    anyone?
surely people must have knocked on the door, came to visit her, someone - anyone
the milkman, the postman, someone selling things

    8 years
    and no one even cared

    that is depressing

Her family didn't even check up on her.
Sure they fell out but 8 yrs is a long time.

i thought she didn't have any family. i can see (in my own family) where it could easily happen, the young ones are very involved in their own lives or have their nose in their ipad, ipod, laptop or their ear to the cell phone which is a direct quote of my relative after his offspring came up north to see them for only 1.5 days; yet is a world traveler. some family members from this side i'm mentioning -- do not even answer me when I send them facebook emails. I'd rather leave my money to charity than them!

    perhaps she wasn't alone
    could be visitors came by
maybe existing inside the walls these things
    some kinda different energy
    dark or light
    a colorless transparent universe's doorway
    where spirits come and go
    inbetween our lives and deaths

no she's never been alone, imo
