in all seriousness though, this is going to be a fun and funny campaign. i need to get my jiffy pop and a comfortable chair..."You can tell the greatness of a man by what makes him angry." - Lincoln

I wonder if she will be able to hit all 57 states on her campaign.

let me guess. she announced she is running for president for the 10th time. i can't wait for the convention. "hi, i'm michele bachman and i would like to announce to you for the first time, exclusively, just for you, that i'm running for president."0

Many of the foster children she took-in were girls with eating disorders.
Sounds like a scam to me.....she didn't have to spend a lot of money on food, but she still may have been reimbursed for the standard amount of food costs by the government.0 -
First: You're scared. And these constant threads on her prove it. If she's such a loon, why continue to comment on her? She would have no shot right if she's crazy?
Second: The original link, from the liberal paper you cited, has since "Updated" their original piece. I think it would be a bit more "fair", had they not "updated" it and actually admitted that they were the one's stretching on a fact to fit their agenda.
Third: For being so dumb, I would guarantee she's more intelligent then everyone who has commented in this thread. She has a post-doc, a law degree and has served as a Senator. You and I are commenting on a rock band's message board pretending to be intellectuals.
Finally: This is what I was waiting for. The press will try to do what they did with Sarah Palin, but this time it will backfire. She's not stupid. A casual person will enter the debate with a low expectation on her because of this and will be impressed over and over. They will realize that she's with it when they hear her speak. Also, people in general, once they learn a story like this, will recognize that the John Wayne, which was the intent, was from Iowa and his parents lived in that same town. Afterwards, they will question the media... not her... and will most likely be left supporting her more than they otherwise would have. This is going to continue too until the press goes too far. They will prod and prod and eventually a feminist organization won't take it anymore and stand up. I bet by this November that will have happened. If I had to bet right now, I would place money on her... and worse case she'll be our next VP. She's no-Palin and she's no Hillary either. Here's a new demo called "in the fire":

and why did her suporters issue threats to a 16 year old girl who challenged her and attempted to take her to task?

well there you have it. She chose not to debate a high school student. (as your article points out a no-win situation)
and her "supporters" apparently were threatening to rape her and calling her a whore. Wow, that's her supporters huh?
Great article.
she should have come on here, it would have been an easier debate.0 -

It's kinda scary. I'm new here and a lot of people here apparently think they are changing the world by typing posts 20 hours a day.
I can see how one could get sucked into these debates, it''s happen to me recently. But, I am starting to realize that a middle-ground may not work here. Respect for your fellow PJ fans who may have a difference of opinion, apparently, is not an option around these parts. Here's a new demo called "in the fire":

Of course it's worth noting there is a distinction between “intellectual” and “intelligent”. I'm guessing there are plenty of intelligent music fans here."It's a sad and beautiful world"-Roberto Benigni0 -

The distinction between “intellectual” and “intelligent” is the latter’s inclusion of sensory experience, facts, or other empirical information, and the former’s exclusion of it, relying solely on imagination and reason.
How's that for an intellectually pedantic answer?"It's a sad and beautiful world"-Roberto Benigni0 -

Some would say an intellectual uses intelligence and critical analysis in their daily life. So, they may not be far apart.
I would bet that the average intelligence in here (and yes, I'm in here so I'm picking on me too), regardless of gauge, is below the level of the average of the U.S.Congress. That's all I'm saying. Here's a new demo called "in the fire":
