LOL!! He did say that.... Carie, the interpreter, looked at me for a second (kinda in shock that he was talking to her) when he said that and I said just flip with both fingers and she turned around and flipped both fingers at him. He just laughed, kinda like "oh yeah it's the same...."

I can't remember what song did he do before or after that moment?

"I'm not about to give thanks or appologize"

He had just finished playing "Long Nights" with Glen when he started joking around with the interpreter. He tried to play "Setting Forth" but stopped because he said something about he couldn't start a song after just telling a woman he didn't know to fuck off. I don't know what was funnier...the interaction with the interpreter or Glen's explanation of "Panties In The Fountain".

    Great picture!
  • Amazing night!!! I was 17 rows off center stage!! Eddie was into the venue, the crowd, and the mystique that is the motor city. Refering to the fact that someone told him before the show
Hey, its the motor city so make sure you GIVE IT SOME GAS!!!!
and he sure did.!!! After small town Eddie said that that the singing from our crowd during the song was
the best moment on the tour so far!!!!

Version of immortality was all so inspiring....also, the show poster references one of the greatest NHL franchise the Detroit Red Wings, with a picture of an exausted chris chelios in what looks like his last game ever or something...Lets go RED WINGS and LETS GO VEDDER< ~~!!!!

Great set. Great venue. Drunk idiots. Hate to see "the fans" turn off the musicians.

Also, can someone please PM me a photo of the sign outside the entrance to fox theatre......i think i'm the only one that didnt get a photo of it. Thx!

I hesitate to do this for a Pens fan but here are some night shots when all was quiet and all the jammers had gone to bed (or passed out). ;)

I have said for years that I'd love to see Pearl Jam at The Fox Theater. Having Eddie decide to appear there amazed me. I thought it would be too small of a place, but that is exactly why I wanted PJ there! It's very quaint and beautiful with all the seats great seats and good sound.
The ushers there are all volunteers. They do it so they can see shows free. They usually have plays performed there.
    Save room for dessert!
