  • Ed,

Thanks so much for taking the time to read the letter I gave you before the show about my grandfather's passing and asking you to play MotH for him. It was incredible. I had family in attendance, making it all the more special.

    All the best,

    Tim

holy shit, what an awesome show, the crowd was definitly the clincher tonight, very into it the whole night, never saw so many standing ovations after songs at the Toronto 08 and Chicago 08 shows. Seemed like Ed played so many songs, but he did start some and stop.

Highlights def include Immortality, Crazy Mary and Porch, plus Let My Love Open The Door, which got alot of people up and dancing, did not see that reaction in Chicago in 08 when we played it

was a great EV show, Arc was odd, he did his first vocal and then tried to loop and it sounded grunty so I don\t think it recorded well, and then he kinda walked away and sat at the organ, too bad, I was looking forward to hearing Arc again and told my brother how insane it sounds.

There was 2 drunk chicks 2 rows behind me to the left and one of them kept yelling Black out, at least 3 times and I swear they yapped all the way through the ukulele songs, grrrrrrrrr

I honestly felt like I was in the presence of a true genius tonight. Pear Jam shows are amazing experiences like nothing else, but this was a masterpiece! Like watching Piccasso paint or Roth write. I wish it had never ended.
  • Just saw Ed and Cheli taking BP at Comerica Park along with others. Ed was in RF and gave us a wave. Too cool. Great show. Can't wait for Toronto in Sept.

That was absolutely amazingggg! Other than the few assholes behind me that started cursing every time someone stood up, and Eddie's start/stops, it was flawless and beyond incredible. Being a huge wings fan, the poster is my absolute favorite PJ/EV related poster instantly, I am so happy to have it! I will never forget this day as long as I live.

Simply a magical week from begin to end, I can't recall so many great set lists in one week for an Eddie solo. So thankful I had the opportunity to be part of it.
