I was pondering this interaction yesterday in the pool.
When Jean mentioned ... people need to let it go and get back on with their lives
this got me thinking ... why this case has hit so hard for so many.
It's not just a case it is all the injustice now in our lives.
I think our lives are a mess,
people losing jobs due to no fault of their own,
people depending on government checks to survive when they would never have conceived that,
people losing life savings, their homes or the value in their homes,
government out of control and our loss of faith in it....
huge bailouts for those with money and talk of higher taxes.
All these spell injustice.
Here is a case from the start that cried injustice... a tiny life taken.
People grasped on to this, they were enraged and needed justice for her death
believed someone would pay for this,
it would be a compensation for their own lives. Something to help build a little faith again.
And again we are left with no justice.
I support the people who have taken heart here ... we need more heart and more action not less.0 -

I used to believe the same as you Pandi...before my accident. Since the accident, I've let all the world injustices go out of my thoughts. (well, most of them) Because you can't carry the world on your shoulders. You've got this time, this short time, to make the most out of life. When I was sitting in the hospital for months, I was jealous of everyone who could walk. Yet these people I looked at, who are so lucky to have functioning limbs, looked completely miserable. That's no way to live when you've got it made. And yes, if you have your health, you've got it made, in my opinion. I'll never go back to my former negative self.
The reason people got wound up in Casey Anthony is because they allowed their feelings to get involved in the case. Well, and of course the media.0 -

Yes we never know what we have until it's gone.
I too with my accident and positive the only way to be, to appreciate what we have.
I'm still thinking it is good to let one's feelings get wrapped up though ...
I actually think that is the best part of life.
It may be all I will take when I leave, that is ...
a heart full of others even if I couldn't change a damn thing.0 -

I also got caught up in it because I found her actions unfathomable. A true sociopath is hard to understand, and its just baffling that anyone could go 31 days without reporting their own flesh and blood missing. its just so far from reality that its hard to wrap my brain around I guess..Pick up my debut novel here on amazon: Jonny Bails Floatin (in paperback) (also available on Kindle for $2.99)0 -

I put this in the AET too..

This is crazy. Larry Flynt is at it again, but he knows his market.
I swore I'd never do anything that could help Casey Anthony get her payday, but I fear our horny fellow man might squash this protest if she was to do this. I doubt she'll do it, but I bet she's putting some thought into it.Pick up my debut novel here on amazon: Jonny Bails Floatin (in paperback) (also available on Kindle for $2.99)0
