They jam for about eight minutes, mutating into 'Maggot Brain,' a funkadelic song from the 70s penned by Eddie Hazel. Mike's guitarwork leaves the crowd (and the rest of the band apparently) awestruck.

Actually...now that I think about it...add "Life Wasted", "Comatose", and "Severed Hand" to the list.
Avacodo had some kick ass solos from Mikey. I'm glad they reallly found some space for him on that album. It just didn't seem like they were using him to his full capacity on their later work.

God that bit makes me think of an awful Bon Jovi power ballad. Come Back and Thumbing My Way were 2 big attempts from Ed to write THE emotional ballad. Both came out feeling cheesy
