I had this long post written up, but it seems to have been lost, as I wasn't logged in or something... :?

Anywhoo, I know there's no perfect system, other than doing a free show, but the logistics would be awful.


Keep in mind I write this post with a membership number of 279,XXX. It's far from a good number.

So, FOR BIG SHOWS LIKE THIS ONE, what about slowly opening the door based on membership numbers? Take a day and a time, and the first 50,000 members would have 24 hours to buy tickets. After that, they'd STILL have a chance, but the door would be opened to the second set of 50,000. After that, the first 100,000 would STILL have a chance, but the door would be open to the third set of 50,000.

And so on and so forth. 24 hours would allow people in all time zones time to sleep and go about their lives, and whatnot.

If you have a number of 459,000, don't fret. There's really TWO membership numbers. The one you see, and the "real" one. Keep in mind that as people drop out, your number DOES get better and better. You and your 459,000 number would have to wait a few days for your presale, but there really WOULDN'T be 458,999 people in front of you.

Plus, factor in people who couldn't attend or whatever, and your "bad" number is really a lot better.


Obviously, if it's a small show like Kansas City on a Tuesday, or Columbus on a Thursday, you wouldn't need the membership number process.

I just want to know how people are still checking their carts and whatnot. On my end, I've been to the checkout pages tens of times without any luck, and my cart contents get dumped after some time period (someone said twenty minutes).

With the current state of the servers, I'm left to believe there are several posters on this forum who are less than honest about their specific situation.

Travel packages should have had their own server. I would've definitely sunk the $1800 to get my day back and put this behind me... and I'd wager there are many others like me.

I 100% forgive. But, I think in fairness to everyone, they should really name a set time for this to go off again.

I think that will make everything go down again, but how would it be fair to have it randomly go back up? Oh, well. Whatever happens, it's all good.
