    One aspect perhaps is songs that get covered a ton, indicating awesomeness but also perhaps, playability.

    I'd throw All Along The Watchtower and Dear Prudence into my Top 10.

    But personally, just my vibe, the absolute perfect song ... Rush's Red Barchetta!

    As i get older i like journey more and more. It wasn't that cool to like them in the 80's but there is no shame in liking journey. Add don't stop believin to my list. journey is dominating!
