    How do you think they'll do it? Pearl Jam closes the show two nights? THREE? Two nights with an acoustic set afternoon of day 2? What happens with Matt and Soundgarden, if Soundgarden is there?

    Btw, what does update your membership by Sunday mean? Mine doesn't expire until July and I will renew, of course, but are they saying they are going to let those that join up this weekend also get in on the ticket action too? Or do we all have to update something that I am not aware of?

    Can't afford the ticket this month, but my inner sense tells me I'll be arriving at Alpine Valley with a band of pj gypsies at the end of this summer.

    Yes. And of course, like everyone else, that would be my preferred trip, although I have never been there. However, by the sound of things in this thread, I am not in the least bit confident I would be able to get tickets. Granted, I am new at this 10 C thing (been a fan of the band since the beginning, but living in a state where there was no chance they would ever come (Alaska) sort of made club membership unimportant to me for many years)...but seems like since I have zero 'seniority', I would not have a chance in hell of getting tickets, I wouldn't guess (although I admit I am unclear on the exact mechanics of the ticketing thing).

    Because of that, I was thinking of setting my sights 'lower' and maybe trying for a show that, like, wasn't the event of the decade. :lol: I would be most grateful for even that!

    I've had a REALLY rough year personally...and I was hoping to treat myself to something cool. And I'd be really happy and grateful to be able to attend ANY show! But wow...this ticketing thing sounds really intimidating and extremely competitive. And being as lost as I am on the subject (it's pretty clear that a lot of you guys have been doing this a very long time and know all the ins and outs), I have to admit I'm a bit bewildered...and feeling like I'll NEVER get to see this frakkin' band. :lol:
