Yes. And of course, like everyone else, that would be my preferred trip, although I have never been there. However, by the sound of things in this thread, I am not in the least bit confident I would be able to get tickets. Granted, I am new at this 10 C thing (been a fan of the band since the beginning, but living in a state where there was no chance they would ever come (Alaska) sort of made club membership unimportant to me for many years)...but seems like since I have zero 'seniority', I would not have a chance in hell of getting tickets, I wouldn't guess (although I admit I am unclear on the exact mechanics of the ticketing thing).
Because of that, I was thinking of setting my sights 'lower' and maybe trying for a show that, like, wasn't the event of the decade. I would be most grateful for even that!
I've had a REALLY rough year personally...and I was hoping to treat myself to something cool. And I'd be really happy and grateful to be able to attend ANY show! But wow...this ticketing thing sounds really intimidating and extremely competitive. And being as lost as I am on the subject (it's pretty clear that a lot of you guys have been doing this a very long time and know all the ins and outs), I have to admit I'm a bit bewildered...and feeling like I'll NEVER get to see this frakkin' band.
I wonder if it will be like the last Spectrum show where there are a ton of 10c tickets.,,,, but most of them are just a license to get in with a marginal seat location or lawn. Just the '1st wave' got the normal 10c seats.
Hmm, probably won't make it to Wisconsin, but very excited to see atleast a Vancouver show!
I am hoping for a Gorge show, or at the very least, a ten club only warm up show at the Showbox, but maybe I am just pipe-dreaming. Death Cab for Cutie just had a secret show where they donated to the Seattle school lunch program, I think Pearl Jam should follow suit, except make it Ten Club only!
