Even unopened they did not want to trade. So I have 2 copies of this , 3 of that , twos of this. Shirts too big... multi shirts... A cassette I recorded off the radio all stuffed away in a box of shame. Why is it a dirty Secret?

Status, for all of you who are chomping at the bit -we had a snafu with Paypal account the first time it was set up...I won't get into details, but basically they didnt like the way I set the account up. It got sent to thier compliance department for review, where it remains today (after a few e-mails and a couple of phone calls, they are still reviewing it... :roll: ) So, being that they are taking WAY too long for my taste, I started the process all over again, opening the account a different way, and I hope to obtain "verified" status for "Bugs Amongst the Waves" by Monday at the latest. The account is all set up, just want to be sure its all good in PayPal's eyes before we start receiving $$, only to have problems later.
I should be able to annouce the e-mail address to donate to on PayPal very soon.
In the meantime, anyone who is inclined to start digging through their PJ stuff for items they have duplicates of or just don't want/need, we will be setting up an "online garage sale" at some point in the (hopefully) near future where members can "pledge" items for sale with the proceeds to go to the Bugs group....info on this is forthcoming So if you think you may have something to pledge, feel free to set that aside.

She would like to try and help some one in her home state of Florida. If we cant find any one their I dont think she would mind helping any one

I can't believe I'm just seeing this thread. You guys prove more and more what I keep saying...This is the best place ever!
I would LOVE to help, but it would have to be non-monetary for the moment...I think some of you know that I am still recuperating and not working so things are very tight and rough right now....HOWEVER....I can type up the meanest Word Document, Excel Spreadsheet.etc..that you could ever dream of. I keep great records, and before all this recent nonsense happened I spent a career in Nursing, Nursing Admin and as an Exec Admin ....so I know the ropes as far as any of that goes.
Please...ask me to do something....anything. I am more than willing, and am so eager to give back to all of the kind souls on here who have been so generous to me...and to those I haven't met yet as well. (only thing I can't drive around right now...so something that can be done at home or via the internet suits me fine).
This is the best community ever. I'm continually amazed at the kindness and generosity for fellow man that exudes here each and every day.
