Here's what I think Pippen was trying to say: Jordan's the best scorer of all-time. That's indisputable because he's the all-time leader in PPG (tied with Wilt) and he was only a guard. But I think it is arguable that Jordan isn't the best all-around player of all-time. I, for one, would argue that he is. But you can make good arguments for Bill Russell, Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and someday, Lebron as well. I think that's where Pip was trying to go with it. But he worded it oddly and it sounded like he was saying that Lebron (not Michael) makes his teammates better when in fact Scottie is living proof that Michael does as well.

the bulls lacked the veteran mental toughness to win in the playoffs ... the mavs should have that ... heat with homecourt might be the difference tho ...

This is where a healthy Caron Butler would've helped the Mavs. They need a second scoring option. I'm not entirely sold on Jason Terry.

Yikes, they said on ESPN that D. Rose shot 6.3% from the field when guarded by Lebron in the series.

I definitely agree. I heard there's a 10% chance he would play. He definitely would be a huge lift to the Mavs.

Steve Kerr made a good point after the game. He compared this Rose/Lebron match-up to 1995 when David Robinson was regular season MVP but Hakeem Olajuwon dominated him in the playoffs to prove that despite not being MVP, he was far and away the better player. It's immortalized in this youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hW4uXlRGAF0

I still say he deserves it. He's pretty much Chicago's entire offensive attack.

Especially considering how useless Boozer was.

Find a book that will let you bet on a Heat sweep. Should have some decent odds and the outcome is likely.

I am rooting for the Mavs but I've been giving it to the Heat ever since their first playoff game.

Oh and the LBJ vs MJ argument, 'get back to me when Lebron has 6 championships.' ;)

I showed my girlfriend a clip of Dr. J's unreal layup the other day. You know the one, where he basically defied gravity and swooped his arm up, and then down and around the backboard against the Lakers.

    Yeah, even she was impressed...
That might have been the greatest shot ever!
