  • I can suggest a ton of new bands. But I won't, because I went out of my way to find them myself.

Weirdest thing I've read. Why would u post that in a thread that asks u to suggest new bands? Why not just ignore the thread

I have discovered so much great music because others have mentioned or recommended them. That's actually the main way I hear new music. That's why I love the 'what are you listening to' and 'I just picked up _______' type threads.

While "Fields" was a gem, their followup was not. Also, they do not translate well live.

That's too bad, I've really been wanting to see them live. If it's cheap and close by I'll probably still spring for it. But I won't go out of my way.

They're from Seattle. Caught these guys as an opener last week. Really good stuff. Kind of early Black Keys/Jack White.
