The OP has not been active for 6 years. I guess the answer is, 'no'.

If you have SiriusXM radio, the XMU channel is a great source to hear newer bands.

Most of these bands aren't very new but aren't overly popular either except for a couple

The Criticals - from Nashville, sound exactly like The Strokes

    New Translations - Indie Rock

The Beaches - all girl pop rock from Toronto

GA-20 - Boston band Chicago Blues

Wet Leg - UK indie rock (getting very popular, not very new but new-ish)

Lambrini Girls - UK pop punk

    The Chats - Aussie punk

    Weakened Friends - Alt/indie Rock

    Pinklids - Alt/indie Rock

Black Pistol Fire - Southern Rock mixed with garage rock (not new but they are under the radar a bit)

Drink the Sea - new band but it's made of people from big bands like R. E. M., QOTSA, Them Crooked Vultures

    Hello Mary - Alt Rock
