calm down a little, i guess the humor goes over your heads....must be all of that open space over in the midwest : )
enjoy the shows, just don't be trying to transfer those tickets
and don't drive your tractors on the west side highway
and don't walk slow when you're in front of me
and don't stop in the middle of the street to take pictures
take a deep breath
you have really failed to help the cause of the likes of me. now i'm just another asshole new yorker like you.
some of you new yorkers are just too much. not only do you personally feel like the world begins and ends with that little island of yours...but if others don't agree, you come down on them as well.
i don't know, but it reeks of insecurity.
theres thousands that tried for tickets today, and only a few hundred got lucky. try being happy for someone else for once. it feels good, trust me.
i haven't complained once on this board about the ticketing. go check my history. i merely point out that yeah, as NYers going to see a game or a show at MSG means a shitload. at least it does to me. i'm gonna be there regardless but i think you'd be pissed if you couldn't get tickets to your hometown show. it looks like thats never happened to you though given your show history.
And I better not see any out of towners in Santa Barbara for the solo gig!
Jesus Christ, people. Amazing.

your grasp on what the word "history" means is a fucking joke. yeah the teams suck here now. is the city full of 10 year olds? no, most of us have been in that building during some of its most amazing moments. what would be ironic is if you are actually flying out here to see the show. that would be too good to be true.
I understand history... Yankee Stadium has history. There are alot of buildings that have had more great things happen in them than MSG. It just cracks me up how you people think that everyone should bow to New York.

I'd love 5 minutes in the ring with you.
Actually, I think 2 may do the trick.

and don't walk slow when you're in front of me and don't drive slow either
and don't stop in the middle of the street to take pictures true, those ppl are asking for trouble
take a deep breath
I'm a non-NYCer and I understand your point of view.

it cracks me up that you still don't read well. no one has ever said to bow to new york. definitely not me at least. we said how as NYers we have a certain connection with the garden and really want to get tickets there. i certainly never said people outside NY should not come. just pointing out why NYers feel the way they do.
also, you have absolutely no idea about madison square garden if you think it doesn't have history.

And some out there wonder why we live far away from you and yours.

I think it has more to do with people getting fed up with some of the things that have been thrown out by the NE crowd and are taking the opportunity to throw it back on them. I think most of us get the MSG connection...but a lot may not be caring.
So for New Yorkers, if given the choice would they prefer that if PJ had not come to NY about 20 times since they formed if it meant they had a better chance of seeing them when they did come. I mean seriously I have seen them once in in the city I lived in when they came to Ottawa and it was super easy to get tickets. I wouldn't have a problem if it all of the sudden became harder, if it meant they came stopped here on almost every tour (and then some). Do people in NY not realize how good they have it when it comes to opportunities to see the band live?
...if someone walks to the Bronx to fetch a Cambodian immigrant's breast milk, walk to Queens to fetch a sugar cookie, walks to northern New Jersey for a set of left-handed golf clubs, and take a picture of a midget holding balloons.

true it's just falling on deaf ears at this point. even for us non-south bashers. in fact im leaving on friday for florida to play a couple rounds at PGA national. can't wait.

it's the fact that it's MSG. some of their most memorable shows were at the garden. hartford, camden, continental airlines arena, etc. they are all right here for us and we've been a hundred times but it's not the same as the garden. i know im going to get tickets through ticketmaster, it's just wanting to be a little closer through the club.
