if you guys end up starting threads over the next 3 months about how you can't make it and asking if you can transfer the tickets to someone else.......you should be banned from new york state for the rest of your lives

i'm not bitter as i got tickets to both shows, but i really feel for my fellow new yorkers who got shut out today. having to pay over face for a show in your hometown sucks.

as a NYer who was indeed shut out twice, I am in full support of your plan.

As I replied to your loser thread earlier red - 10 club members have a right to purchase tickets to any show

you no more deserve to go to MSG than any other fan club member

Well, I got tickets to both NY shows, and to be honest I don't feel too bad about the NY'ers that got shut out. You still have a second chance - give it another go.
I would rather tell my boss to go and shite rather than miss this trip to NY :)

perspective, brah, no need to get on my case.

and everyone should be able to go anywhere, but when you're buying tickets if you're not sure you can make it, that's a problem, don't you think?

Oh nooo... Why do New Yorkers think their state is so great??? It's cool and all but you guys act like we should feel priveleged to live in the same country that New York is in... You can keep your state and it's arrogant citizens. In Detroit if we don't like you we just kill you.

Is there some sort of test to determine if someone is a true enough New Yorker to deserve tickets to MSG?

this was the best (and most sad) post I've read this week.

if the "cornfed shmuck" bought tickets, they've probably bought them because of the hype you (insert choice words here) have been building it up to be!

Mecca Square Garden. The only home of the True Pearl Jam fan.

Come out to the Gorge, to Alpine, or to plenty of other places that are just as great as the shows you've seen.

if you wait for the signal to change to "walk" before you cross the street, you shouldn't be allowed to go.

i understand why no one really gets it. I really do. And I agree that everyone should get to go to whatever show they choose. But you, and others just have to TRY to understand just how shitty it feels to be a NYer and be shut out of both NY shows while some fella from whereverthefuck easily scored tix to both shows. Its sucks and I'm pissed and thats all.

    ^

I'm sorry, but that's fucking pathetic. How do you know what MSG means to people outside of NY? People hear about how good the shows are, and if they want to go, they can go. It's not a NY only show.

And who says they'll have to pay over face value going through TM. The TM prices won't be that much more expensive.

edit......took me awhile to finish post.....this was directed at Ovechkin8's post, not yours, Red

I don't think anyone easily scored tickets ... at all.
