    RE: Hartford EV Show...I am being dropped off in Hartford by a friend on his way through to R.I. so I'm gonna be there VERY VERY early...like early MORNING. ...question is, what is there to do until the pre-party bar opens? In the near vicinity..cuz I'm not taking the chance of going far. Anyone?

    Who's staying in hotel in Hartford? Recommendations near the venue/bar/Union Station? Nothing like a little last minute planning..since I just bothered to find out that not only is Union Station CLOSED after 10 pm but the only train/bus doesn't leave until 6-7 a.m. What kind of city IS this anyway? geez man. :roll: :lol:

    I'm staying at the Crowne Plaza downtown Hartford...booked it on priceline for $55 a night (its about $110 a night if you book from the hotel website).

    I think its about a 15 minute walk to the venue.

    thanks guys. i looked up area hotels, i was wondering if anyone had experience at any of them, cuz i hear that i sure don't want to be waiting round for the bus/train station to open up again in the morning. :roll:

    Looks like Homewood or Holiday Inn Express is closest to the pre/post party. Anyone staying there?

I have no idea what regular prices are here..but this sounds good..so if the organizers want to take advantage of it, and if we need to, if we're not already getting Happy Hour Prices..but I would Imagine We Probably Are??? anyway..if we can use it..if it makes a difference..here it is..just need a head count. :D
