OK...I was wondering if I should do this...Staggering Genius has motivated me to see what happens... :mrgreen:

Share 3 Random Facts About Yourself

I'll go first, as usual :lol:

1. I sew basic belly dance costumes
2. I know elephants can't jump
3. I am a Canadian who can't play hockey, let alone skate

    - I love reading, but haven't been doing that as much as I'd like to, lately
    - I've always loved cats, pretty much always had cats, the most cats my family has had at the same time was 8 (three adults and five kittens)
    - In keeping with the 'love' theme, I'm absolutely in love with my boyfriend, which is a good thing cause I live with him :lol:

    1.There are 9,865 species of birds alive today, according to the IUCN.
    Of the 9,865 bird species, 1,227 species are considered threatened with extinction, 838 species are near threatened, 7,735 species are considered to be of least concern, and 65 species lack the data to determine their status. 133 species of birds are known to have gone extinct since 1500 and I love bird facts ;)

    2. Evolutionary biologists remain uncertain as to the origin of birds.
    Research currently supports the view that birds evolved from a group of dinosaurs known as theropods during the Mesozoic Era. Modern birds share many characteristics with theropods. Both have hollow bones, a pelvis bone that points backward, a wishbone, and a three-toed foot and i think birds are cool 8-)

    I am so glad you decided to do this thread! I'm already fascinated!

    1. I did not eat a hamburger until I was 22 years old and living in the UK. (I am an American.)
    2. My family is legally outlawed in the state of New Mexico.
    3. I was an NCAA D1 student athlete.

    3. Some years back in the town of Glacier WA. my 14 year old daughter I and helped out a soaked drunk in the middle of the night who had no idea where he was. He turned out to be Eddie V.
