  • I'm thankful for everything Pearl Jam has done, whether it be their music, getting me into vinyl, their amazing concerts (bringing my brother onstage in Boston!!), or their great activism, because they always amaze me.
  • I'm most thankful for all the places I have seen because of them and all the great memories I have of those fun trips! I have seen them in 15 different states and 3 countries. All places I wanted to go but they just got me motivated to visit them. And they don't play the South much so I have to travel! :)

Besides the obvious answer of giving us so much great music, I am thankful that Pearl Jam made me aware of the best format to listen to recorded music on: vinyl. My record collection started with Vs. and Vitalogy, and has since grown to include over 550 records (LPs and 45s).

i am thankful for their music because it truly helped me when my Dad passed away. there are a few songs that were on repeat for a long time & they enabled me to be closer to my Dad even though he had passed away. for that, i will always be thankful.
    I LOVE MUSIC.

  • I was the lowest i'd ever been and i'd lost everything, my boyfriend, my house, my cats, money and the relationship with my family and friends. Songs like Better Man, GTF and I Am Mine put me in touch with ME again. The day I got my stickman tattoo I knew things were about to change in a big way and that it was going to be a rough ride for a while... I got my head down, gritted my teeth and took life head on. I started to build my life back and finally, after 23 years, I liked myself. The whole time, Pearl Jam never strayed far from my ears or my heart.

They're music is in my soul, it gives me thanks and appreciation for everything I have and tolerance for when things don't go my way. The Pit has introduced me to many great friends on home soil and to beautiful people across this beautiful world... it's also given me the gift of love... I'll never be able to say thanks enough for that.

I'm thankful because Pearl Jam gave me my life back.
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

Other than my sister, all of the people around my table at Thanksgiving Dinner tomorrow I know because of Pearl Jam.

So, I am thankful for the "family" I have because of this band.
  • I am thankful for a band that gives me the opportunity to watch my 2 and 4 year old sons say "Dad not Pearl Jam again!" only to join me in a group "POGO" when I fail to listen.
  • Happy Thanksgiving to you all!!!!

  • I am thankful that Pearl Jam has brought together so many fans that help spread the Jam to each other. I just me a friend of a friend that was asking what tattoos I had....when I showed her the sun stickman on the back of my leg, she pulled up the back of her shirt to show me her stickman on her lower back. Instant bond with someone 15 years younger than me!!!!
