I wonder if he'll sign posters, too? Would like my Showbox to sport his John Hancock...
I have confirmed that he will. Good luck!

Awesome! Thanks for the heads up!

Only about 10 people there. Brad had about 12 posters with him and he talked about each one. Then took questions and answered everything with alot of detail. Very good time. With questions and everything he spoke for about 90 mins. Then signed books and posters and spoke with everyone on hand. Great guy and well worth going.

How did peeps bring their posters? I'm a total poster n00b... did they just have'em rolled up in a tube and dick around w/ unrolling, signing, rolling up again on the floor somewhere... or where they pros w/ binders or books or something?

Did he have anything other than a black pen for signing?

I've made myself more nervous than I should, I think.

Yeah you are def overthinking it. People had them in tubes and took them out when they got to him. Brad had a sharpie and asked the bookstore for a pencil to sign the posters. Don't worry about it man.

Is there a master list of all the posters he's done somewhere online? (I'm not sure of all the artists of the posters I have.)

Philly was great!! Brad gave a talk and fielded questions from everyone. Afterwards he signed his book and posters that people brought. Very cool guy, besides being the creator of some great PJ Art!

Oh yeah... the Tres Mts. show after was icing on the cake...KICK ASS!!

Hey Mcam, didn't know you were there that night. I was the guy the guy that asked him to go into detail about the Toronto 09 poster. It really was a cool little event.

And to anybody who has the chance to meet Brad in the future, I highly recommend it. He's a really cool, accessible guy and answered all our questions with no hint of attitude. Really enjoyed talking to him and even got to touch on some Bhuddist philosophies. Really educated guy who cares about his work. Hope I get to chat with him again. My girlfriend thinks I have a man-crush now

Just got in from the NYC signing. Really cool event at this little bookstore on the LES. Fairly small turnout, I'd say about 20 people or so. Brad brought a bunch of posters from his portfolio (PJ, Black Keys, etc.) and spoke in detail about them. Spoke a bit more about the creative process and his influences, background, etc.

Took a bunch of questions and then hung around to sign books & posters and speak with everyone. Real nice guy and great event, happy to make it down. I'll write some more detail tomorrow but wanted to give a snapshot, highly recommend going if you get the chance.

Yah man, great evening, got my Showbox signed (and he made sure to show me how he knew it was legit, after that big scare I had last year that I might have been suckered into buying a knock-off on the bay... shep remembers).

The initial talk was interesting, but the best part was the long Q&A afterwards. He answered each question with depth and detail. He loves what he does and has an appreciation for those of us who applaud his work. Really cool night.

PS: Thanks for the dude who brought the silver sharpie that Slash used. Looks much better on my Showbox than a silly pencil would have!

I was going to go, but I'm down and out with the flu. My wife was nice enough to go after work for me.
