    1. Pearl Jam
    2. Pantera (I never see any love for these guys around here but they were amazing)
    3. Queens of the Stone Age/Them Crooked Vultures (They count as one band because they are basically the same thing)
    4. Blind Melon
    5. Led Zeppelin

    Numero Uno...

Followed by Pink Floyd, Crowded House, Jeff Buckley, Cornell/Soundgarden/Audioslave, RATM, Springsteen, the Gaslight Anthem, the Police, Queen, Radiohead, STP - and that group all tends to rotate depending on my mood.

    Only #1 never changes... :D
And I listen for the voice inside my head... nothing. I'll do this one myself.

There's tremendous variations on everyone's top 5, which is quite awesome and interesting.

For me, I'd say Pearl Jam has pretty much been at the top for a long time, but the rest of my top 5 are pretty fluid, depending on my mood. If I want classic rock, The Who, Springsteen, The Beatles, and Jimi Hendrix are the rest of the 5...but if I am in the mood for something more modern Ben Harper, The Roots, Michael Franti & Spearhead, and The Black Keys round out the rest of the 5.

It's pretty cool that as of right now for the first time in my adult life all 5 of my favorite bands are currently together (AIC isn't exactly the same without Layne though). 4 or 5 years ago this was a pipe dream for me.
