Project #9 - Break the Sky: Pearl Jam Live

Where did you guys get to with the 'Gone' discussions?
How about Chicago as a kind of compromise between Antwerp and the other versions mentioned? I liked Chicago, though not as much as Antwerp - but it seemed to be more popular than Antwerp and was a very good version I thoughtCancel my subscription to the Ressurection

We've come to this, mostly :Cameron4President wrote:we have come down to Albany vs. Chicago.
My vote right now would go with Chicago just on the basis of trying it and seeing how it fits. I love the version from Albany, but I can't get over the whole flow issue.
I'll second (third) that. I'm not sure it'll solve the flow issue though, but it might be worth giving it a try in Version 2 and see how it sounds.0 -

All Along the Watchtower - San Francisco, California (July 18, 2006)
Do we want to try those suggestions as well :Dazzler wrote:Someone asked for a more intense Life Wasted.
Can't find many, but the only one which I felt was as good a version as Melbourne, was Chicago 15/05.
If chosen, this would free up Severed Hand from Melbourne 13/11 which delivers everything that Antwerp had, but doesn't cut off abruptly.
So my vote...
Life Wasted - Chicago 1
Severed Hand - Melbourne 1
Gone - Chicago 2
Everything else in place and good to go?
I was fine with Life Wasted and Severed Hand from version 1, but haven't had the chance to listen to those other versions yet, so I don't know. Could be worth trying too ?0 -
Gone from Chicago would probably still have that flow issue. I still think Brisbane is a viable optionIs it so wrong to think that love can keep us safe?0

Don't I know you from the poetry forum? You're the one who throws around hostility - and in one case some cryptic abuse which I strongly believe was actually some very nasty racism. Nobody else seemed to pick up on your racism, but let me tell you - I noticed it.
So now you think it's time to come and be hostile out on the Porch. Why don't you get a life - go and find a good book to read if you don't like the forum and any of the people in it.
Well put Tremors.

How are we going to come to a decision on Gone? We could go round and round forever and not reach an agreement! I'm happy to take more of a back seat on this decision - I haven't made a massive input to the project so far. So if others have strong views I don't want to be the one to be a stick in the mud. My personal preferences of the versions discussed so far have been Antwerp and Chicago - but I'd be happy with a different choice from the people who have done most of the work this timeCancel my subscription to the Ressurection

What is the date for the Chicago Show that we are considering "Gone" from?

I was too, but I really like the way Tremors handled it. This guy/girl/it obviously has some sort of emotional/mental problem, or problems. Incoherent rambling and insulting fellow board members is never a good thing. I am glad that Tremors spoke up.I am the artist formally known as "Cameron4President"....

I ignored him first time around, but him coming back here, and looking at some of his other posts, it looks like he is on a bit of a mini mission to disrupt the Porch at the moment - starting with when he changed his username to the current one.Cancel my subscription to the Ressurection
