but they did do the new album in its entirety. just not in order. amazing show. i loved how involved erykah badu was in the encore. best tyrone ever.
I dunno if she's supposed to be a great singer or not, but her extra little scat parts weren't really appealing to me. When she was singin more set parts it was fine but she was out of tune and clashed when she tried to do a little improvising with the oooooohs and aaaaahs.
I think singin on the new tune put her into overstaying her welcome territory, but I think everybody was waitin for Tyrone. I've never been a big fan, but realize it was a bigger deal for the long time MMJ fans.
FYI: Anyone planning on getting tix to the Bank of America show in Boston thru the general onsale (Live Nation) on Friday, June 3 at 10:00a.m.

The venue only holds like 4500 so that shits gonna sell out real quick. Im wondering how much of the venue will even be left, after the fan club presale, which sold out in like 10 minutes...

This Album is amazing...I have not been able to get it out of my head for 3 days. Of the new releases, Ed/Ben Harper/MMJ this is the best of the lot. BH is a great album too
