That is a good idea! They could do a lot with that song I think.

Weighty Ghost by Wintersleep. I think PJ could kill this song, rock it up a bit ... i I'd love to hear it! It's reminiscent of the Into the Wild soundtrack I think, so Ed wouod fit it well and the rest of the guys would make it heavier. Yeah. :)

Something funky! Their cover of Stevie Wonder's "Someday at Christmas" is excellent.

This song is featured on the Bug Man EP that the band put out on Arrest Records in 2001 I think. Do check it out sometime, especially this song since I am sure it will linger in your head for a long time to come and will have you moving your limbs.

I would very much hear PJ play this song, but am sure they never will since it is rather obscure. Although, Ed's love and passion for DC affiliated bands is well known :)

Ah, Dischord Records... same record company as Fugazi's. :) I've usually liked most of this label's bands! Awesome company - good taste.... Although when you order vinyl from them, they send it with the cello slit, and the record in its sleeve as well as any inserts outside of the jacket. Apparently customers were complaining that the edges of the jacket were being delivered damaged, and this was somehow due to the record being inside the jacket??? So they just send it "deconstructed" as a matter of course... I appreciate that they are trying to prevent damage (although no idea how this was happening for this reason), but getting them like that is kind of like someone taking the first bite of your amazing sandwich.

Ed and Boom doing Piano Man.

Boom on the piano (obviouslly) and Ed signing and playing the harmonica could be very cool.

but I just thought to myself..
...what song WOULD sound decent if Pearl Jam DID do it.......
and then this song for some strange reason popped in my head. :?:

What percentage of the audience would you say would be somewhat familiar with this obscure song (that is, heard it once or twice if even back in the day) and would freak out if Pearl Jam broke into it? I'd guess between 17% and 19% :wtf:
