I know they would never do this, but I love Paul Simon's 'You Can Call me Al'
"If you'll be my bodyguard
I can be your long lost pal
I can call you EDDIE
And Eddie when you call me
You can call me Al
Call me Al"

Where I'm not ugly and you're lookin' at me
this.
Eddie Vedder- 7/16/11
Brad- 4/21/12 (RSD Performance), 4/27/12, 8/10/12
Flight To Mars- 5/23/12
RNDM- 11/27/12
PEARL JAM- 12/6/13 I have finally seen Pearl Jam live!
+ 1
My choices for songs that should actually work
The Beatles - Mother Natures Son (Thinking of the White Album - Everybodys got Something to Hide Except Me And My Monkey would be incredibly fun,too - maybe a one-shot performance like they did with Whip It)
CCR - Born on the Bayou
The Byrds - 5th Dimension
The Doors - Tell all the People
REM - The Flowers of Guatemala
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Deanna
Bonnie Prince Billy - Just To See My Holly Home
But I have to say, that for the most part the rather obscure covers work the best! Who would have though that they actually sound good covering Timeless Melody? THATS a cover that should reappear on setlists! Baba is delicious, too! So sad I haven't seen it in concerts yet.
Tops: Baba, Timeless Melody, The Real Me, Leaving Here (!), So you want to be A RnR Star, Crazy Mary
Downs: Know Your Rights, Fortunate Son, All Along the Watchtower (!)
deeper shade of sole
That's a brilliant choice! Wow! :!:
Send my credentials to the house of detention
Kiss - Love Gun http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trR5ROuf1Uk
Jimi Hendrix - Purple Haze http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BqC_XzPfBQY
The Cure - Just Like Heaven http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RS_ux2H473I
Motley Crue- Shout at the Devil http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7d57WGkhi-M
:P
Hm? Fortunate Son and AATW are all over the place, but not in a good way. They usually play them too sloppy compared to the tight originals. At least Know Your Rights sounds right, but I don't like the song very much. Instead you should quote my TOPS! The Real Me for instance is brilliant!
are you serious?
, but Stone's gotta sing it!
Tonights The Night- Neil
Dont Get Fool Again-the Who

I like this idea very much
Of course, I'd love to hear anything by the Doors...and Boom can step in for Ray Manzarek on the keys
