The '00 Toronto show @ the ACC still ranks as the best PJ show this city has ever seen in my humble opinion. The ACC has seen some exciting PJ moments, and I'll take that venue over the Molson Amphitheater any day of the week. See y'all at the Montreal, Toronto X2, Ottawa, and Hamilton shows,...

Yet it is the best venue in the city of Toronto for a concert of this size. I don't quite get your point... care to elaborate?

I do indeed, the venue is far to big... the sound is terrible... if your on the floor its alright, maybe even the 100's are ok.. the problem is if you have seats from the 200's up dont even waste your money.. you cant see a damn thing and the sound quality is absolutely awful. The molson amp is a far better venue weather permitting of course, sound is amazing.. even the lawn seats offer an exceptional view of the sage! I understand PJ needs to accommodate a large number of fans... its too bad maple leaf gardens is out of commission.. that was a far better venue and much more intimate

It is funny how different opinions can be. One of the main reasons that I dislike the Ampitheatre is that I think the sound there is CRAP. I think the sound at the ACC is great, then again, I am usually on the floor. I also disagree with your point that lawn seats offer a better viewing experience than anything in the upper bowls at the ACC.

Personally I would pay twice as much for tickets to see PJ at the ACC compared to the MA.

To each his own I guess.

Agree with that the atmosphere is amazing at the Amphitheatre, but disagree re: the sound. It "rumbled" and "droned" a lot in '09 . . . I thought my ears were failing me, but I heard that a lot of people agreed that the sound wasn't amazing.

Sure. That's fine :) I absolutely LOVE it for the atmosphere though, assuming the weather is good. I loved the feeling of feeling the sun on me as the show got closer and being outside during the '09 show . . .

I think the problem was that everything had to be scheduled around TIFF and that really left them short of options at some of these venues.

Why isn't the ticketing process for the Canadian shows staggered ?

Now I assume that the Ten Club has considered all viable options relating to the 'smooth' distribution of 10 Club ticket pairs through their website. They've decided to open up all Canadian tickets at the same time for a reason....

    - Just a suggestion ..... how about attaching a brief explanation to the Canadian Tour announcement post detailing why such a 'non-staggered' approach is being implemented. I think this may curb some of the angry posts relating to this issue. This is not an 'angry post', but rather a 'constructive' post.

I think most fan club members would just like to have a ticket-purchasing experience that does not end up taking hours whether they secure tickets or not.

    * The Canadian Tour is great news. Thank you for your efforts, Ten Club.
