    Love the start of the show, the first 5 songs are Amazing.
    Hold on, gods dice, you are, Sleight of hand are so good and i must say Immortallity is pure magic.

    (Other top boots in my book are: leeds, Moline, Milwauke and Cincinatti)

    The final boot of the Euro 2000 tour kicks off with Sometimes. They up the ante straight off with Breakerfall, Corduroy, Hail Hail and Animal. It's a fantastic start. After Red Mosquito, Ed talks to the crowd and tells them they slightly messed the song up. He then introduces Given To Fly as the 'greatest melody ever'. In Hiding is hugely enjoyable and is followed by the Binaural duo of Insignificance and Grievance. Wishlist and Evacuation back-to-back is a mismatch. The crowd's roar at Stone fires up those opening notes of Alive is great! Daughter, as it has on much of this leg, is fantastic; Ed tags in a PJ improv 'In The Mood', Tom Wait's 'Hold On' and Sonic Youth's 'Androgynous Mind'. Some of the guitar effects are great too. Ed forgets the lyrics to Immortality early on but the latter half of the song, especially the outro is brilliant. Porch closes the main set.

    The encore opens with Sleight Of Hand. Ed changes the lyrics a few times in Evolution with "I am the first mammal to have a gun in my pants" and "2010 we'll be living on Mars" and follow up with Once. Timeless Melody returns to the tour for the first time since Prague. Black, as ever, is just great. An excellent Fuckin' Up closes the show.

    Another good boot from the tour.

    That's the Euro '00 leg wrapped up for me - my favourites being Prague, Katowice II, Salzburg, Milan and Oslo. Also worth a listen are London I, Landgraaf, Ljublana, Hamburg and Stockholm.
