:?: An hour late and you'll be fine. I thought it made sense.
i find the time on the ticket means nothing most of the time. but if the opening band does come on when the ticket says it starts then, yes your post makes sense.
I've been spoiled by Queens before and seen them 2 hours plus at the Natasha benefit a few years ago and if I remember correctly, I think they played 2 hours last year at Club Nokia. Hope they stretch it out at the Wiltern.
Me! Had a blast! I don't know - about 1:45? Wasn't really timing them.
 (although we are all PJ spoiled - I'd love to also see QOTSA play a more-than-2-hours-set ) It's good to finally see something of a review here - the community over at rekordsrekords is so lame

you didnt miss much.
they played rockabilly music. not really my thing, but they weren't the worst opening band.
HOB in Boston was sweet. We got a great show. I dont think Josh was drinking. Looked to me like he had a water. Maybe a beer, but either way, it was the same bottle for the whole show. They had a few consecutive shows in a row there, so its understandable.

Me and the wife got there right before doors opened but we ended up with a great spot. We were a little to the left of the stage, but only about a row or two back... right in front of the speakers, it was loud as hell but it sounded great.
The 3rd pic there is my favorite, I love the way it looks.
It appears that we actually got the longest setlist so far, but one song. Monsters in the Parasol was completely re-arranged, the vocals were a lot different but it still sounded really cool... something different.
Highlight of the night for me was Walkin' on the Sidewalks. That's my favorite song on S/T and they rocked the living shit out of it, and extended the outro to it for about an extra 2 minutes. It was intense.
I got a few videos that I recorded too, just a few minute here and there clips and I'll put them on YouTube later today and post them as well.

What an awesome set! They really seem to be hittin' their groove now. "Medication" and "Leg of Lamb" I would have went nuts.
I plan on seeing these guys as much as I can in the future. Really hoping they add another US leg of the tour.

I don't think Medication was even on the set list. Right before it started Josh turned around and said "Fuck it lets play Medication!" and before Infinity he said "How about we just take requests. You can just turn on the radio and hear the hits, let's do some deep cuts".

WoW! Very nice setlist and thanks for the pics - that place looks cozy
May is coming closer, I can't wait for the London gig ...
Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue!
went to the show on Friday and holy shit was it awesome. Was my 4th time seeing them and my favorite by far. Saw them open for NIN, Rage against the machine at alpine and a headlining show at the riviera last tour but this blew them all away. The place was packed early so i had to sit balcony but it was still energetic as fuck!
-Someone threw a copy of twilight on the stage (for what reason i don't know) and josh started reading a passage with a lit cigarette like a beatnick, fucking hysterical.
-S/T was such a great set to hear front to back. They nailed every song with so much intensity.-

I can't wait to see them again

I plan on seeing these guys as much as I can in the future. Really hoping they add another US leg of the tour.

That's awesome! I wish Homme did that in NYC. I loved the show but it was all hits in the encore. Glad you got a great show and from the pictures it looks like you were really close to the stage!
