That's not the point. I want them to come to Michigan. It's frustrating being a rock music fan and living here and this shit keeps happening. PJ hasn't played here since 2006, that's going on 5 years now. QOTSA announces a tour and of course they aren't coming to Michigan. Radiohead never comes here either.
The list goes on. It's just annoying....Detroit is as good a market as any for a rock concert. Oh well, at least STP is coming in April.
I understand. Pearl Jam has the seven year itch in Buffalo, so next time they're coming will be 2017. As for Michigan, though, PJ frequents Grand Rapids too, so between Detroit and GR Michigan gets a fair representation, plus Windsor gets hit up every now and again. My GF is from Detroit, so I was disappointed to see QOTSA wasn't going to be playing there too.

What says you about the venue. Shall I opt for GA or a seat of some sort. Havent been there yet. Heard tons of awful reviews and know it wasnt that great of a venue when it was the avalon. Im going regardless, but debating on what tix to choose (if there is even an option) with all this presale BS going on.

I'm sorry but I won't be much help. Never been before but I know the entire floor is GA, the second and third levels will be the seated area. I am personally going to try for the floor. GA is the only way to go for a QOTSA show!

I saw them at Lupos in 07. The floor was nuts. Not sure if im up for moshing. Im more of a spectator when it comes to that sport. I'll be there no matter where I can get a seat tho. See u there!!!
