I'm a huge Bret fan and I've always loved all these guys. Especially in this era when they were together. I went to a few Raws during that time and was even at Summerslam '97 in New Jersey where Bret wins the title from Undertaker (when special ref Shawn hits Underaker with a chairshot meant for Bret). was at one of the first In Your House events in Winnipeg. It was British Bulldog v Kevin Nash for the title. Bret on guest ringside commentary. Shawn Michaels forfeited his IC title, and Razor Ramon won it from Dean Douglas. It was a great event, and I was second row on the floor.

not too bad of a SummerSlam.  I'm ok with Roman winning and Braun not cashing in yet but kinda surprised he pinned him with one spear?

some solid matches like Rollins/Ziggler, Miz/Bryan and Syles/Joe (up until the end)

Yeah. I was kind of surprised by that. I was expecting a much longer match from those 2, especially since Roman Reigns kicked out of something like 6 F5s at WrestleMania. I guess they wanted to get it over and done with as quickly as possible so the crowd couldn't go too nuts.
