The logic behind Lesnar winning makes so little sense. I do wonder if Punk had not taken his ball and gone home if he would have been back in that match again this year.

Sucks that Taker lost, but it had to be his call. Wonder if they'll take it in some sort of redemptive direction or if he'll retire tonight I definitely think they made a bad call having it go before Bryan won. Read it sucked the air out of the place and having a big moment for Taker to revel in the applause would've been a great way to finish the show.

Im glad that streak is over. If there is one thing WWE cant afford, its to be that predictable. An hour every year at their premier event is dedicated to a relatively boring, old wrestler who would win, predictably. It needed to end, somehow.

I slurged on WWE TV to watch a bit of WM as well as maybe 1 or 2 of the other PPVs in the next 6 months. I am really interested in the archives and checking it out. Ill see if I can get $60 worth, who knows.

I watched the Bryan/HHH fight. Thought it was very good. Eclipsed last year's WM by itself. HHH is so "good" at "selling" matches though. Was cool to see Hogan, SC, and The Rock out there, but whenever they bring those guys back it makes me upset that those times are gone and pro wrestling is a shadow of what it used to be (and something I only watch for maybe 3 hours a year).

It was funny to see Hogan refer to the Superdome as the Silverdome.

The air was sucked out. It wasn't until the last match where it kind of recovered.

I thought that at least punk or sting would make an appearance. Punk was seen in New Orleans (probably just for his gf, AJ lee). Maybe tonight on raw?

Overall I would give wrestlemania a b+. Thought Wyatt was gonna win, should have put him over.

I can see why they had taker losing losing, still kinda sucks.

I thought for sure it was suicide. It wouldn't have surprised me if we learned that he went home, put on his Warrior face paint, colored arm bands, boots and tights, blared his Ultimate Warrior entrance music and (standing in the middle of his Ultimate Warrior man-cave) blew his brains out.

He was a strange, intense guy. Anyone who would legally change their name to Warrior must not be playing with a full deck of cards. Doesn't mean he wasn't a good guy, but he was a little too attached to his wrestling persona- kind of like the movie The Wrestler.

I figured it would be heart with all the steroids he did. Autopsy will be done tomorrow

He collapsed, so it's very likely heart related. The timing couldn't be stranger.

I loved Saturday Night's Main Event. Especially the 80s, up to 1990/1991. I own the 'Best of' DVD. Macho Man, Steamboat and Jake the Snake are classic matches from 86/87. Wrestling will never be that good again.
