I know :? I hesitated saying anything, but I'm feeling rather mischievous at the moment. Sleep well (and please, please wake up again)

Guys, waking up is a huge POSITIVE though. We take it for granted but, it's the very most important good thing that happens to all of us living people every day. (!!) :)

Had a great time watching my 7 year old play in his Basketball game.
It was the last game of the season and had a delicious 'Ceasar' Salad with steak at Twoheys in Alhambra, CA.
Both of my kids are cleaning their room for my Mom's arrival from Boston this Tuesday. She hasn't been out here since my daughter was born in 2003. We are going to Sedona next weekend. Totally excited.

I finished the biography of Edna St. Vincent Millay for a book club tomorrow.

I uploaded my most recent coffee adventures to http://coffeecupcrossroads.tumblr.com.

My oldest sister wrote to me that she has read the entire blog. She liked it and was moved by some of the coffee adventures where I wrote about family stuff.

This weekend was the 50th anniversary for a company I have done some consulting work with and it was really touching at the brunch to hear my name mentioned personally and asked to stand up to acknowledge applause. It was nice to see an appreciation even though my service at the company (two years) is nothing compared to many others there.

    1) Hung out with my friend who is in town on a surprise visit. We got drunk over bloody marys in the sun shine and had a blast laughing our asses off. So glad he still has that lazy eye. Can't wait to visit him in Missoula. He waits on Jeff all the time. 8-)

    2) Went to a party and my friend surprised me by busting out with a keytar. He played me Sexy MF. Then he topped it with Love Bites. It was followed by a performance by my best friend doing Beyonce's Irreplaceable on the ukulele.

Survived another trip into the backcountry of Idaho, although a viscious skunk did eat one of my wife's river sandals during a brazen late night raid.

There's nothing like the pain of crossing a river in the middle of winter with bare legs to let you know you are still alive, plus the people driving by stop and stare at you like you've got three heads.

Talkin' shit with all you jive turkeys.

    Happy V-day!
