List of three good things about your day

I think we need a thread where we all list at least three good things that happened today.
As a way of gathering positive news around here.

There is always a bit too much negative stuff and to balance that I think we need a place to gather the other side of the story. :)

So here are a few small things that made my day better-->

A student's mother brought me some potted tulips.
I got an unexpected compliment from someone I work with.
I got the homework grading finished this morning so I don't have to worry about it this weekend.
:D

    1) Got taxes done and getting an ok refund
    2) Got caught up on my homework/readings for my class
    3) Got no bills in the mail :lol:

    2) Got a nice PM from a someone who got my PJ Gift all the way in the Man of Isle.

    Hmm. This is tricky because I'm sick.

    I didn't throw up.
    My husband took my computer to the Apple store and the problem was the battery, nothing major.
    Our dog didn't bite the gardener.

    And I agree, this is a great idea - especially for somebody who's super grumpy today, like me.

    I love this thread- great idea!

    1) Took my mother on her first walk across the Golden Gate Bridge. And the weather was spectacular.
    2) Listened to a shit ton of Stevie Wonder.
    3) Went to Home Depot and got all the stuff for my new project.

    Today-->

    1) I did not seriously hurt my wrist when I fell while skating today.
    2) The quartet I'm working on is getting easier by the day.
    3) I talked to my mom and she seemed happy and relaxed so we had a good conversation.

    1. My LOXL super deluxe arrived... wasn't expecting it until Monday.
    2. The sun shone, the Chinook winds blew and snow is melting.
    3. The Flames are on in 45 minutes and will kick some Canuck ass!

    Gotta love it when a Chinook blows in :D Hmm, I'm a little torn on that, I want the Flames in the playoffs, but I'm liking my 'Nucks at the top of the league :mrgreen:
