This comment could not be further from the truth. Vinyl in general sounds way better, but Benny is a step above that!!
Uh, no. That is all.2-feign-reluctance said:whgarrett" said:Just to let you know, the Benny vinyl doesn't sound all that better than the compact disc especially if you have a decent stereo.

Leeze. They eat white bread here. Baby steps.Leezestarr313 said:Who needs a bread maker? Nobody wants these stupid holes in the bottom. Do-it-yourself is the way to go! The bread gets a nicer crust then as well ...
Anyhow. The prices are insane and way too high for us mere mortals with bills to pay... A reissue for a regular price whose proceeds go to a charity would be just fine. Yes and make it the exactly as the original. Even same numbers and back date.Leezestarr313 said:Back from europe, back to reality.
Wouldn't it be awesome to have a reissue of the Benny Hall under the christmas tree? Affordable and nice and all?

I know they do! I actually brought two breads from Germany back to America in my suitcase. I was so happy to see that customs didn't take them out hehe ... After 12 days in Europe and eating tons of the good bread I am seriously considering to open a bakery over here. People need to know that there is better bread out there in the world! B-)

Great idea. There's a German bakery 3 hours away by my moms house. Always busy and expensive. Carries lotsa German goods as well She brings me two loaves when she visits. Remember as kid running down to backarei(sp?) and getting fresh loaf still warm so when you cut it and added butter it would melt.
Back to topic. Gents just please reissue all you records.10-18-2000 Houston, 04-06-2003 Houston, 6-25-2003 Toronto, 10-8-2004 Kissimmee, 9-4-2005 Calgary, 12-3-05 Sao Paulo, 7-2-2006 Denver, 7-22-06 Gorge, 7-23-2006 Gorge, 9-13-2006 Bern, 6-22-2008 DC, 6-24-2008 MSG, 6-25-2008 MSG0 -

Instead of asking for a repress of this, maybe you guys should be asking for more shows to be released on vinyl. Just an idea.0

Well, I'm supporting any vinyl releases by PJ
But this show is a little different than others, at least to me. Because it is a full, long acoustic show. The whole vibe is a little different than in other shows. This is what I love about it. I dig the Vault LP, I love the Orpheum show, but this is different to me. My white whale vinyl, so to speak. And I know I'm not alone in this.
em jot - it is really just a thought at this point. I'm not sure i'm ready for opening a bread business yetPost edited by Leezestarr313 onPlease, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue! http://community.pearljam.com/discussion/148993/please-pearl-jam-consider-a-vinyl-benaroya-hall-re-issue0 -

While I agree and would love this...it would seem it has a better chance of being bootlegged than reissued. Whoever is making the colored vinyl of Avo, Yield, and Binaural is selling the mess out of them. I like originals but there is no way I will ever own this collection...unless it's reissued or..."A man has the right to be as big as he feels it in him to be." Ken Kesey0

This is the purpose of this thread. Even if I could afford a Benny for the price they are going for nowadays, I would hesitate to get it because how in the world can you justify spending that much on a vinyl record? I would like a copy because I want to listen to it on my fave medium. I don't want it to boost my ego or put it on a pedestal. I intend to use it. And of course I would want good quality. We got the blue Avo as well and I think it is not too bad. But with an acoustic show, I would prefer the actual real deal. So please, PJ, consider reissuing this beauty before some bootlegger screws it up and gets rich with it!Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue! http://community.pearljam.com/discussion/148993/please-pearl-jam-consider-a-vinyl-benaroya-hall-re-issue0
