Sad to see folks paying $100+ US for those unofficial bootleg vinyl copies.
The cd is $15, and that is exactly what you are listening to on the bootleg.

Pretty much. There is a 24Bit Flac HD rip of the original pressed vinyl being shared. The ones who are released these inferior bootleg vinyl could be using this source then using the CD.

releasing things we do not have would be so much cooler than reissuing things just for the sake of having it on vinyl.
His eminence has yet to show.

I haven't read this whole thread... 'cause it's 85 pages long... so I'm not sure if the Bootleg Benny has been covered.
    If not...

    I bought one.
It's copied from a digital source and it has "skips".
These aren't imperfections in the vinyl itself, it's digital skips.
A friend of mine said he saw one for $75 sealed.

If you run across a SEALED one... and you want to purchase it... you should ask about the "digital" skips.

It's fun to have on vinyl... even with the skips... but it doesn't compare to the original.

I have a bootleg copy of Lost Dogs as well as an Official copy and playing the bootleg feels wrong for some reason.

    I'm like a tab

If they can both, that would be pretty freaking sweet.

Maybe it’s Stone’s fault. Doesn’t want his Thin Air mistake pressed again.

And even that's a digital file.

(As most people know, the best records are analog all the way into the groove which is the actual sound wave.)

That's true, but I don't think many records are all analog anymore.   I think many of them get pressed from high res digital source :(
