Back to the trivia, who is the only actor (outside of the main four) to appear in all nine seasons of the show?
    Newman?

that was my first thought. Probably too obvious. My next guess was George's parents, but that again is probably too obvious.

Now kinda looking at the answer (after looking at minor characters on wikipedia)  makes sense.

maybe my guess/answer is wrong then...

Yep. That original version is only available now on the DVDs.

Mr. Lippman was played by two different actors.
Yep. And I thought this might be a tough one because the orginal Lippman only appears briefly and is pretty forgettable.

There are a few more that I know of. Minor characters. I'll list them later if nobody gets them. Frankly, there's probably more than I even know but I know a couple.

Now this one doesn't really count, but it's a good little piece of trivia. For the Non-Fat Yogurt episode, they shot two versions; one where Rudy wins and one where Dinkins wins. In the Dinkins version, available on the DVD, a spokeman for Dinkins talks about how he only eats non-fat yogurt. The spokesman was played by Phil Morris who later played Jackie Chiles.

Yeah good point. Played by Lee Bear, and voiced by Larry David. That's two actors. I wouldn't have thought of that.

I actually said Steinbrenner not because of that, I thought that he had been either voiced by two different actors, or played by two, at one point. I guess that was a "correct" guess by incorrect means.

Correct is correct. Doesn’t matter how ya got there.

Later I’ll post my list of minor characters played by the same actor if nobody gets them. But I have to pay tribute to Norman Brenner. He was Michael Richard’s stand-in who appeared frequently. Most notably as “Eeen.”

Exactly. You'll recall Kramer and Mickey doing that for some soap opera.

Jerry's stand-in appears often too, though not as often as Brenner. I don't know his name though. Here he is telling Elaine about the Muffin Top store. He also appears as a co-worker of George's when he quits his real estate job, and as a bartender when Kramer is investigating the sniffing accountant. And probably a few other times that I can't remember.

Yeah, I think that's the first I'd ever heard of a stand in, from that episode. But I wasn't sure how accurate the show was in portraying its function.

Okay here's my (likely incomplete) list of actors that played multiple characters.

    Answers you guys gave:
    -Morty Seinfeld
    -Frank Costanza
    -Lloyd Braun
    -Mr. Lippman

    Some minor characters:
-The woman that can't be with Jerry because she doesn't respect what he does (She's a cashier!) later appears as a waitress (with a much different haircut) that George goes on a date with, and tells her he likes horse manure.

-The woman who had a baby shower and ruined George's shirt three years prior at her "performance," later appears as a saleswoman (with a much different accent) that Elaine calls "Natasha."

-The actor that plays Jake Jarmell appeared as one of the cops in the episode where Kramer may be the Smog Strangler.

-The woman from The Limo (kind of a cute Nazi) later appears as Poppie's daughter who won't take a bite of Jerry's pie.

-Comedian Mario Joyner appears as a friend of Jerry's that he just saw Firestorm with, and later as Jerry's nemesis "Maroon Golf" in The Puerto Rican Day

-One of Bette Midler's teammates who chases Jerry and George later appears as George Hamilton's personal assistant in The Wig Master.

-Larry David has appeared both on and off-screen as multiple characters. Most notably Steinbrenner, Frank Constanza's lawyer, and as a B-movie actor carrying on about "Flaming Globes of Sigmund."

I know there's more, but that's all I know off the top of my head.

Yeah she's on the link I posted of the ones I forgot. Can't believe I forgot that kid that Mickey was a stand-in for was earlier the kid who Paul O'Neil has to hit a homerun for.

Back to the trivia, who is the only actor (outside of the main four) to appear in all nine seasons of the show?
I see this is was answered already, but for some reason I was thinking of this actor when you asked the question.

There is another actor that appeared in every season but one(Season 9 by my research).

    Can anyone name him?

Ledbetterman10, can you give others a chance as I know you know the answer.

The first season, or at least first few episodes, it was kind of a different diner all together. There was a waitress who, I believe, they initially wanted to play the Elaine type of role.
